Lotte launched Pai No Mi "Uji Matcha" on January 24, 2017.
Pai No Mi (パイの実) is a mini pie snack with chocolate filling, and they've come up with various flavors.

The actual name is "Kuradashi Uji Matcha," and Kuradashi (蔵出し) is a method to mature the tea leaves that are harvested in spring and finally enjoy the tea in the fall for the first time.
Uji is a famous area where they grow tea leaves.

I could smell fragrant matcha flavor as soon as I opened the bag.

The top of the pie was shiny.

Inside of the crispy pie, there's pale green matcha flavored chocolate.
It's sweet because of white chocolate, but matcha flavor was rich enough to remain in my mouth.

ロッテから2017年1月24日にパイの実 蔵出し宇治抹茶が発売された。

パイの実は小さなパイにチョコレートフィリングが入ったお菓子で、これまでにも様々な
フレーバーが発売されてきた。

蔵出し宇治抹茶の「蔵出し」とは、春に摘んだ新茶を熟成させ、秋に初めて味わうお茶の
ことらしい。

とじこめました。サクサク食感のパイと抹茶チョコレートのおいしいバランスをお楽しみ
ください。

チョコパイにメッセージを書くアレンジ。

袋を開けた瞬間から抹茶の良い香りがした。

ツヤのある表面。

ふくらんだパイ。

サクサクしたパイの中に、淡い緑色の抹茶チョコレートが入っていた。
ホワイトチョコレートで甘いけれど、抹茶の香りが口に残るほど味が濃かった。
