My husband bought me a new snack produced by Glico called "Pocky Wagokoro Uji Matcha Cookie Crunch."
It's launched on September 30, 2014 and Wagokoro (和ごころ) can mean to love our own (Japanese) cultures while respecting foreign cultures and love for peace.

The package was bright deep green and in the center, there're 2 Pocky sticks and matcha powder on a red plate.

On the side, there's one Pocky with product name.

On the back, their slogan "Share happiness!" was written in gold.
It says, "Comforting and premium Japanese deliciousness.
Uji matcha is used in pretzel and cookie crunch, and it's covered with smooth milk chocolate. Please enjoy richly fragrant matcha and quality lusciousness."

There're 4 individual packages in the box.

The package had light yellow green and green with transparent section in the center with gold line, and on dark green, it says "Matcha" in white letters.

When I opened the pouch, I could smell sweet chocolate flavor and also a hint of bitter matcha.

The pretzel was pale green and also the crunches had pale green, too.

First I tasted milk chocolate, which was very smooth and velvety, and then, I gradually tasted bitter matcha from the crispy pretzel and crunches.

I thought chocolate would surpass matcha in flavor at the end again, but main aftertaste was deep and fragrant matcha taste.

It's quite addictive as the bitter flavor made this less sweet than regular Pocky.

I really enjoyed this Pocky with crispy chocolate crunches.

旦那が買ってきてくれた2014年9月30日発売の「ポッキー 和ごころ 宇治抹茶クッキークランチ」を食べた。
箱にはポッキーが2本と抹茶の粉が赤いお皿に乗った写真が載っていた。
側面には商品名とポッキーが1本載っていた。
背面には金色の文字でキャッチコピー「分かち合うって、いいね！」が書かれていた。
商品説明は以下のように書かれていた。
「和のここちよい 上質な美味しさ
宇治抹茶を使用したプレッツェルとクッキークランチをまろやかなミルクチョコレートで
つつみました。豊かにひろがる抹茶の香り、丁寧につくられた和の上質な美味しさを
お楽しみください。」

中には小袋が4個入っていて、黄緑、緑が使われ、真ん中には透明な部分があり、金色で
囲まれていた。
緑色の部分には縦書きでMATCHAと白い文字で 書かれていた。
袋を開けると、チョコレートの甘い香りと一緒にほんのりとした抹茶の苦い香りがした。
プレッツェルは淡い緑色で、チョコレートクランチも緑色をしていた。

最初は滑らかで濃厚なミルクチョコレートの味がし、徐々にプレッツェルとクランチから
苦みのある抹茶の香りが出てきた。
最後はチョコレートの味が勝るかと思っていたけれど、後味は深みのある香りの良い
抹茶だった。
通常のポッキーよりも甘さが控えめで、ザクザクしたクランチも入っていて食べ応えも
あり、美味しかった。
