Glico, a Japanese confectionery maker, added a new flavor to their long-selling and famous snack "Pocky."
It's Milk Cocoa flavored Pocky with Kumamon, Kumamoto prefecture's Yurukyara package on March 11, 2014.
Apparently, Kumamon's birthday is March 12.

The box was smaller than regular Pocky and it's the same size as Kakure Momojiri package.
This uses Jersey milk from Aso, Kumamoto prefecture.
I saw some dotted lines on the package, and when I cut the package following the lines, I could see Kumamon's hands and ears.

On the back, 2 sightseeing spots are mentioned; Kikuchi Keikoku (Kikuchi Valley) and Misumi-Nishi Ko (Port of Misumi-Nishi).
It says if I'm lucky, there's a sash to put over the Kumamon box.

On the back, it also mentions that the eyes can be removed and if you shake the box side to side, the eyes become wobbly.

Removing the eyes on the back, I saw another little Kumamon in his left eye, which was a little bit creepy...
I noticed that I had to take out the plastic package holding Pocky.

Now I could see that Kumamon's eyes were moving.

Plastic package inside had a lot of Kumamon around a big Kumamon.

Smile, his right hand is up and blank look.

On the back side of the plastic bag, there're more.

Milk Cocoa Pocky uses cocoa flavored biscuit.

As the image on the box shows, in the milk cocoa flavored chocolate, there're some little dark dots like cookie & cream.

Milk cocoa flavored chocolate was sweet and had a hint of rich and salty taste like butter, and the chocolate went well with cocoa flavored biscuit well.
The itty bitty dots tasted like Oreo cookie and it added another texture and flavor to the snack.

グリコからミルクココア味のくまモンパッケージのポッキーが2014年3月11日に発売された。

通常のポッキーに比べて小ぶりの箱で、前に出ていた「カクレモモジリ」と同じ大きさ。
阿蘇産のジャージー乳使用と書いてある。
箱には点線がいくつかあり、その線に沿って切ると、くまモンの手と耳が現れた。

裏面には観光地が2ヶ所載っていた；菊池渓谷、三角西港。
「くまモンのタスキが入っていればラッキー」と書いてあったが、残念ながら入っていなかった。

裏面の目をくり抜いて左右に振るとくまモンの目がキョロキョロと動くと記載があったので、
くり抜いてみたら、くまモンの左目には小さなくまモンが見えてちょっと気持ち悪い。。。
どうやら中のお菓子袋を取り出さないとダメだったらしい。
取り出してから箱を振ると、目がちゃんと動いた。

ミルクココア味のポッキーは、ビスケット部分がココア風味。
チョコレート部分には箱のイメージ画像と同じく点々があり、クッキー&クリームのような見た目。
チョコレートは甘く、バターのようなコクと塩気があって、ココア風味のビスケットと良く合っていた。
黒い点々はオレオの様な味がして、食感や風味を足していた。
