Pocky has various flavors and they also have very fine version called "Pocky Ultra Skinny (Pocky Goku-Boso)" since 2006.

On the front, it says "The skinniest Pocky in its history."

On the back, there're quite long explanation about this product.
"50 pieces, a flood of deliciousness!
The thickness of the pretzel is about half the size of the regular Pocky and coated with chocolate.
Though it's slim, you can still taste chocolate well."

It also says that each stick weights differently so that it's not guaranteed there're 50 pieces in a box.

On both sides, there're product name and image photos of the thin Pocky.

There're 2 packages inside and they're white pouches with gold letters of Pocky.

They're very skinny and even though I didn't have regular Pocky at my hand, it's obviously thinner.

I was curious if each pouch contained 25 pieces while the box said there might be not.

And there sure were 25 skinny Pocky. (I haven't opened the other pouch but I'm planning to count them, too.)

On December 26, I opened the other bag and there're 25 pieces precisely.

I think it's about half the size of regular Pocky, but again, I didn't have regular one so that I couldn't compare them to make it visually easy.

I had to put more pressure to hold a stick as the surface area was smaller than regular Pocky.
And when I bit, the crispy sound was higher note than regular one, and it's much crunchier.

I'm not sure if I tasted chocolate stronger than regular Pocky, but this Pocky Ultra Skinny has more contents in each pouch so that I felt like I was eating more with lower calories.

ポッキーは沢山のフレーバーに加えて、とても細い「ポッキー 極細」を2006年から販売している。
箱の表には「ポッキー市場最も細い」と書かれていた。

裏面には長めの商品説明があり、「おいしさ次々、50本！
ポッキーチョコレートの約1/2の細さに焼き上げたプレッツェルにチョコレートを
コーティング。
細く軽快なのに、チョコ感をしっかり味わえる＜極細＞ならではのおいしさをぜひ
お楽しみください。」と書かれていた。
また、1本あたりの重さにより本数にばらつきがあることもあると書かれていたので
必ずしも50本入っているわけではないらしい。

両側面には、商品名と極細ポッキーの写真が載っていた。
中には小袋が2個入っていて、白地に金色の文字で「Pocky」と書かれていた。
ポッキー極細はとても細く、手元に通常のポッキーがなくてもその細さは歴然だった。
箱には必ずしも50本入っているわけではないと書かれていたので、1袋にちゃんと25本
収められているのか気になったので数えてみた。
この日開けた小袋にはしっかり25本あった。（もう1袋はまだ開けていないので、後日
数える予定）
12月26日にもう1袋を開けると、ちゃんと25本入っていた。

ポッキー 極細は通常のポッキーの半分の太さだと書いてあったのも納得できる細さだった
けれど、比較対象できる通常のポッキーがなかったのでこの写真だけ見ると細さは分かり
にくい。

ポッキー極細は表面積が小さいため、持つ時に通常のポッキーよりも力を入れなければ
ならなかった。
噛んだ時のポキッとした音は通常のポッキーよりも高く、もっとサクサクしていた。

チョコレート味をしっかり感じられたかは不明だけれど、ポッキー極細は1袋に含まれる
カロリーが低く、本数が多いので満足感はあった。
（通常のポッキー： 1袋31.5g、318kcal）
