My husband bought me 2 interesting flavored Coca-Cola from Japan.
One of them is "Cola-Cola Lemon" and it's launched solely at Seven-Eleven in a limited quantity on June 30, 2014, but he still saw this in early in December.

Coca-Cola lemon was first introduced in 2005 to Japan, and other flavored Cokes are vanilla and cherry which were launched last year, 2013.

As the label is red, this is a regular Coke with lemon flavor but contains no actual lemon juice.

The cap was also yellow and had "Coca-Cola lemon" in red.
Both hiragana says "あける (to open)" with arrows showing the direction to twist the cap.

It had light lemon flavor when I opened the bottle, and the strength of the scent was noticeable yet as light as a coke served with a slice of lemon in the glass.

However, as it's made with real lemon juice, it had no characteristic bitterness or refreshing scent but only "lemon flavored Coke."

It's been way too long since I had regular Coke last time so that it's really sweet (from sugars).

I was thinking it would have weirdly strong lemon flavor but as it's light, it's not disturbing, however I'd have enjoyed this if they had made Diet Coke lemon instead.

For comparison, the other one was "Coca-Cola Orange" and the color of the content was lighter than that of lemon flavor.

旦那が日本で変わったフレーバーのコカ・コーラを2種類買ってきてくれた。
そのうち1つが「コカ・コーラ レモン」で、2014年6月30日にセブンイレブン限定で数量
限定発売されたけれど、12月上旬にもまだ販売されていた。

コカ・コーラ レモンは2005年に初めて日本で発売され、昨年（2013年）にはフレーバ付き
のコーラ「バニラ」と「チェリー」が販売された。

通常のコカ・コーラなので赤いラベルが貼られていて、レモン味と書かれているものの
無果汁。
黄色のキャップに赤色の文字で「Coca-Cola lemon」と書かれていて、キャップを回す
方向を向いた矢印と「あける」が載っていた。

キャップと開けるとほんのりレモンの香りがし、香りの強さはコーラが入ったグラスに
スライスレモンが添えられている」程度の軽い香りだった。
ただ、果汁は使われていないため、レモン特有の苦みや爽やかさはなく、単なる「レモン
風味のコーラ」だった。
かなり久々に通常のコーラを飲んだので、砂糖の甘さがとても強いと思った。
飲む前はレモンの強い香りがするかと思っていたけれど、実際の香りは軽く、気になる
ような風味ではなかった。
ダイエットコーラで作られていたら良かったなと思う。

ちなみに、もう1つのフレーバーは「コカ・コーラ オレンジ」で、液体の色はレモンに
比べて少し薄かった。
