Funassyi is probably the most famous Yuru-Kyara as his video was shown in CNN.
He's an unofficial character of Funabashi-city, Chiba, Japan, and he's a fairy of Asian pear as it's one of Funabashi city's signature agricultural product.

Marumiya Corporation, a food-processing company founded in 1951, launched "Funassyi Furikake <Curry Flavor>" on November 6, 2014.
* Furikake is a rice seasoning to put over cooked rice.
On the mat, there're 4 Funassyi with his popular moves.
And the very bottom Funassyi says, "Secret ingredient is pear nasshi---!"
The jar looked like Funassyi but missing the green leaves on his head.
He's "wearing" a blue shirt with a red tie with his name plate though says "Curry flavor with secret ingredient; pear."
I didn't notice first, but the mat had the green leaves and when I put the jar back on the mat, it looked like Funassyi actually had the leaves on his left side of the head.
On the back of the jar, there's a warning how to use this furikake.
"If you hold the jar upside down to pour over rice, a lot of powder comes out."
Also on the mat, there's the same warning.
To use it properly, you can tilt the jar and shake to pour the furikake little by little.
Unscrewing Funassyi's head, which is a cap, I saw a large cylindrical pourer.
It's a little bit surprising that they didn't put seal over the hole.
There're light brown powder with some colorful condiments.
It had very strong curry and sweet scent.
I'm used to furikake's characteristic flavor but for my husband, he thinks it smells weird.
Following the direction, I tilted the jar and shook sideways to pour it little by little.
It definitely had curry flavor, and it tasted like those curry which is meant for kids as it had very sweet taste.
Also the light brown color reminded me of those kids' sweet curry.
On the ingredients list, there're sesame, eggs, honey, curry powder, carrots, garlic, spinach, mashed sweet red beans, extract (chicken, onion, leaven, bonito, fishes), chicken, seaweed, pear and so on.
A lot of vegetables and of course the secret ingredient, pear, was listed.
They use seaweed from Funabashi.
No wonder if had very complex and fragrant fishy flavor with fruity pear scent.
It had a little bit surprising flavor, but if you know it contains pear, it wouldn't be that weird.

1951年創業の食品加工会社である丸美屋から、2014年11月6日に「ふなっし ーふりかけ
＜カレー味＞」が発売された。
台紙には4つのよく知られたふなっしーのポーズが載っていた。
1番下のふなっしーが「かくし味は洋なしなっしー！」と叫んでいる。
容器はふなっしーの体型にそっくりで、頭についている緑の葉っぱがないだけだった。
青色のシャツを着用し、赤い蝶ネクタイと名札もついていた。
名札には名前ではなく「かくし味に洋なし カレー味」と書かれていた。
最初は気がつかなかったけれど、台紙には緑の葉っぱが描かれていて、ふなっしーの
容器を乗せると頭の左側に葉っぱがついているように見えた。
容器の裏側には、逆さまにするとふりかけが出過ぎると注意書きがあった。
台紙にも同じ注意書きがあり、容器を傾けて少しずつかけるようにと図が載っていた。
容器の蓋（ふなっしーの頭の部分）を回して外すと、太い筒状の注ぎ口があった。
シールなどで密閉されていなかったので少し驚いた。
中には明るい茶色の粉と、明るい色の調味料が入っていて、カレーと甘い香りがした。
私はふりかけの香りに慣れているけれど、旦那には妙な香りらしい。
注意書きに従って容器を傾け、少しずつふりかけおをご飯の上にかけた。
ちゃんとカレーの味がし、明るい茶色と甘さが子供用のカレーに似ていた。
原材料名には、胡麻、鶏卵、はちみつ、 カレー粉、ニンジン、ニンニク、ホウレンソウ、
こしあん、エキス（チキン、タマネギ、酵母、鰹、魚介）、鶏肉、海苔、西洋なしなど、
沢山の野菜と隠し味の梨が載っていた。
これを見て、洋梨の甘さに加えて複雑で香ばしい魚の香りがした理由が分かった。
普通のカレー味を想像して食べると驚くかもしれないけれど、「梨入り」と知ってから
食べるとそれほど妙な味には感じなかった。
