Funassyi's FUNA Cafe --- I waited for 6hrs + 10 minutes to be seated

Funassyi's FUNA Cafe was opened on September 2, 2014 for a limited time only at "THE GUEST cafe & diner," Shibuya Parco, and it'll end on the 30th, so it's a month-only cafe.
They also had a limited time Kiki & Lala Cafe before.
Every day I checked the website, Facebook and twitter, and I always saw comments like "I couldn't get in" "I waited for 6 hours" and etc.
Regarding Funassyi, please go to Funassyi Pretz.
When they first opened this, I don't think they had expected to have such a large amount of people would come and the restaurant was chaotic, I heard.
And the line to get in reached the 1st or the 2nd floor from the 7th floor where the FUNA Cafe is located.
Then, they changed the way to let people come to the cafe; providing numbered tickets.
Those who after 81st from the first person waiting, they'll receive the tickets.
Each ticket has a time to come to the building and a number, then they line up in order of the numbers and wait in the line to get into the cafe.
This clearly means that there's a limited number of tickets available but they prohibited anyone to line up though the night, so people tend to take the first train to get in the line.
However, there's a sad truth.
If you get the last slot, which is 8:00 PM ticket, you're expected to line up for 1-2 hours like other ticket holders, and the order stop for food is at 10 PM and for drink is at 10:30 PM, and if the cafe is still crowded and if you won't be able to sit by then, you won't be able to order food or drink, in other words, you'll end up waiting for in vain.
Plus, I saw a couple of tweets from other days that some food items were sold out before the closing time.
Last night, I planned to line up from early in the next morning in order to get in the cafe and order food and drink before they're gone, and here is the timeline of the day, September 25, 2014.
6:15 AM --- woke up
6:35 AM --- left home
6:50 AM --- arrived at Shibuya Parco and saw a large group of people already
7:00 AM --- the line got longer and it went on the corner where MIU MIU is
7:10 AM --- a staff came out to give us directions how it works (tickets and waiting), and he started counting the numbers.
As I was luckily around 75th, I didn't need a numbered ticket to come back later, but it means I'd have to keep waiting for more hours.
Also, he said each can stay for 60 minutes for the maximum at the cafe.
9:00 AM --- they started providing numbered tickets
9:30 AM --- got into Parco and went up to the 7th floor by escalators following the people ahead
9:40 AM --- arrived at the stairs between 6th and 5th floor
12:25 PM --- got a menu book to choose beforehand
12:35 PM --- they took my order after reminding me that I could stay for an hour and also no extra order once I placed my order
1:00 PM --- finally sat down
1:05 PM --- Tappuri Nashi-jiru Bushaa Soda was brought
1:07 PM --- a Funassyi balloon was brought, that was a gift for the FUNA Cafe Plate
1:10 PM --- FUNA Cafe Plate was brought
1:30 PM --- Illusion Mousse with Nashi-jiru was brought
When my turn was up, an employee came towards me and rechecked my order with me, then I used a headpiece and a clip-on tie to become Funassyi and took a photo with a Funassyi statue.
Funassyi was wearing a cute pink apron.
A place mat was on the table.
You can take this place mat as a souvenir and I saw some people put this into their bags before using it.
There're Funassyi panels on the walls.
Tappuri Nashi-jiru Bushaa Soda
Any drink at FUNA Cafe comes with a Funassyi coaster which has 4 patterns but chosen randomly.
When a waitress brought a soda, she put the glass on the table directly so that I could bring back the unused coaster.
It said that there're pear jelly and pear sorbet, and the blue part on the bottom was pear flavored jelly and the yellow part was soda.
I have no idea where the pear sorbet was, but might the yellow part at the top?
Or simply the crushed ice could have been pear flavored.
When I mixed it them well, it became a weird color.
It's sweet and sour with soda with rough bubbles.
First it's refreshing but in the end, all I tasted was fruity and sugary sweet flavor.
FUNA Cafe Plate
Omuraisu (omelette rice) had Funassyi's face with mint leaves.
The eyes were made of seaweed and the cheek and mouth were drawn with ketchup.
On the right, there's a famous phrase of Funassyi, "Hyahha-" written with ketchup.
Underneath the omelette, there's ketchup flavored rice without any vegetables.
It had light butter flavor.
Hamburg was covered with cheese.
Coarse ground meat patty was a bit gooey, but tasted good.
Sweet demiglace sauce had chopped onions and carrots.
Salad was lettuce and tomato with French dressing.
Corn Soup was served cold.
The corns were gone bad and brown, which was sad.
Olive oil on the surface added some flavor and rich texture.
Fried Shrimp had crispy breading and it's quite good.
There're 4 pieces of Pear Karaage, battered and deep fried pear.
Literally, a piece of pear was fried, and it's too unique and one piece was enough...
Illusion Mousse with Nashi-jiru
* Nashi-jiru is pear juice
It's brought with a Funassyi face cover filled with white smoke.
An employee who brought this uncovered it after I finished taking photos.
I took a video how it looked.
"Illusion" is the zipper behind him, and unlike other Yuru-Kyara, he opens the zipper to eat in TV shows but he's not showing his face (the person inside of Funassyi).
I was told to pour Nashi-jiru (pear juice) in a mini glass over Funassyi shaped mousse.
I tried the blue leg part without sauce, and it tasted like cream cheese.
And the yellow head taste like mango.
They're both very fluffy and light but had creamy flavor.
The amount of the sauce in the jar was small but the pear flavor was noticeable with a spoonful of mousse.
The eyes were made of chocolate.
Like Kiki & Lala Cafe, the food and drink were good.
However, some employees had emotionless faces and said harsh things, so you'd better not expect some cheerful or kind service.
Maybe they're too sick of handling people every day.

As I was here alone, I didn't think it'd be easy to go to the bathroom while waiting, so I only had a glass of water before I left the home, and also I brought some snacks to resupply some calories in order not to faint from anemia.
Though, they said if a solo person waiting in the line needed to go to the bathroom, s/he could inform the people before and after him/her to leave and come back.

ふなっしーのFUNA Cafeが期間限定で渋谷パルコのTHE GUEST cafe & dinerに2014年9月
2日にオープンした。
（9月30日までの1ヶ月限定カフェ）
以前はここでキキ&ララカフェが期間限定であった。
毎日ウェブサイト、Facebook、 Twitterを確認していた所、「入れなかった」「6時間
待ち」などの声が多く見られた。
ふなっしーについては、ふなっしー プリッツ を参照。
開店当初はこれほどの人気を予想していなかったためか、カフェは大混雑したらしく、
7階にあるカフェへの列は、1階か2階の階段まで続いていたらしい。
そのため後日、入店方法を整理券配布へと変更した。
並んでる先頭から81番目以降の人は整理券をもらう。
各整理券には集合時間が記載されていて、書かれている番号順にカフェへ並ぶ。
つまり、整理券＝入店できる人数に限りがあるということだけれど、徹夜で並ぶことは
禁止されていたため、始発で並ぶ人も多いらしい。
ただ、この整理券には残念なことがある。
それは、最終案内時間（20時） が記載された券をもらった人は、他の時間が記載された
人と同じように1〜2時間並ぶと予想されているため、カフェの混み具合によっては入店が
22時を過ぎる場合がある。
フードのラストオーダーが22時、ドリンクは22時半のため、待ったにもかかわらず、
飲食物を注文できない可能性もありえると言うこと。
また、閉店前にメニューの品切れを知らせるTwitterを見たこともあった。
昨晩考えた末、品切れする前にカフェに入り飲食物を注文するため、翌朝早くから並ぶ
ことにした。
以下、当日の様子を時系列にまとめた。
6：15 起床
6：35 出発
6：50 パルコに到着すると、既に多くの人が並んでいた
7：00 列は長くなり、ミュウミュウまで延びた
7：10 係員が整理券や待ち時間を説明した後、人数を数え始めた
運良く75番辺りだったので、整理券をもらわずに入店できることになった。
ただし、さらに何時間も待ち続けなければならなかった。
また、係員はカフェは60分制と言っていた。
9：00 整理券配布開始
9：30 前の人に続いてパルコ館内へ入り、エスカレーターで7階へ
9：40 カフェ入り口から列が続き、6階と5階の間の階段で待った
12：25 予め注文するものを決めるためメニューが渡された
12：35 カフェは60分制、追加注文不可と再確認があった後、メニューから注文
13：00 着席
13：05 たっぷり梨汁ブシャーソーダが出された
13：07 FUNA Cafe プレートのおまけ「ふなっしーバルーン」が出された

13：30 イリュージョンムース − 梨汁添え − が出された
私の順番が来た時に店員が注文メニューの確認をし、ふなっしーのカチューシャと
ネクタイを借りて、ピンクのかわいいエプロンを着けたふなっしーの人形と写真撮影。
席に着くとランチョンマットが置いてあり、店内にはふなっしーが飾られていた。
このランチョンマットはお土産として持ち帰ることができるので、使わずにすぐに自分の
鞄へ入れている人もいた。
たっぷり梨汁ブシャーソーダ
ふなカフェでドリンクを注文すると、無作為に選ばれたふなっしーのコースターが付いて
くる。（柄は全部で4種類）
きれいなコースターを持ち帰れるように、店員はソーダをコースターの上ではなく、直接
テーブルの上に置いてくれた。
ストローにぶら下がっていたキーホルダーもお土産として持ち帰ることができる。
ミントの葉はふなっしーの頭に乗っている葉っぱに似ていた。
上部の黄色い物はジャムのようなものだった。
梨ゼリーと梨シャーベット入りと書いてあり、底の青い部分は梨味のゼリーで、黄色の
部分は炭酸だった。
ただ、梨シャーベットがどれだったのかは分からない。
（もしかしたら上部に乗っていた黄色い物体か、氷が梨味だったのかも？）
よく混ぜてから飲んだのだけれど、混ぜた後の色は気味が悪かった。
甘酸っぱく、泡がバチバチした炭酸だった。
最初はすっきりしていたけれど、後味はフルーティで砂糖っぽい甘さが残った。
FUNA Cafe プレート
オムライスはふなっしーの顔になっていて、ミントの葉が乗っていた。
目は海苔、ほっぺと口はケチャップだった。
右側にはケチャップで「ヒャッハー」と書かれていた。
卵の下には具無しのケチャップがあり、軽いバター風味。
ハンバーグは粗挽き肉の上にチーズが乗っていた。
食感は少しゴムっぽかったけれど、味は良かった。
甘めのデミグラスソースの中にはみじん切りのタマネギ、ニンジンが入っていた。
サラダはレタスとトマトで、フレンチドレッシングがかかっていた。
コーンスープは冷たい状態で出された。
コーンの粒は茶色く変色していたのは残念。
上にかかっていたオリーブオイルは香りと濃厚さを足していた。
エビフライは衣がサクサクで美味しかった。
梨の唐揚げが4個入っていたけれど、独得の味で1粒食べるのが精一杯だった。
イリュージョンムース − 梨汁添え −
ふなっしーの顔型の透明なカバーがかかっていて、中は白い煙が充満していた。
写真を撮り終わったのを見て、店員がカバーを外した。
その様子を動画で撮影。
写真を撮り終わるとドライアイスは持って行かれ、小さな瓶に入った梨汁をふなっしーの
形をいたムースにかけて食べるようにと説明があった。
イリュージョンは、ふなっしーの背中にあるチャックで、ふなっしーはテレビでこの
チャックを開けて物を食べることがあるけれど、中の人の顔は絶対に見せない。
脚の青いムースだけを食べると、クリームチーズのような味だった。
頭の黄色い部分はマンゴーだった。
両方ともふんわり軽かったけれど、濃厚な 風味があった。
イチゴ、ラズベリー、ブルーベリー、マンゴーが添えられていた。
梨汁の量は少なかったけれど、スプーンですくったムースと食べても香りがはっきり
分かった。
目はチョコレートでできていた。
キキ&ララカフェ同様、食べ物や飲み物は美味しかった。
ただ、店員によって連日の盛況振りにストレスが溜まっているのか能面のように無表情
だったり、言い方がきつい人もいたので、店員にふなっしーのような元気が出たり
思いやりのある対応は期待しないで行くと良い。

1人で並んでいたため、途中でお手洗いに行くのは難しいと思い、家を出る前に水をコップ
1杯だけ飲み、貧血を起こさないためにカロリーを摂取できるようにお菓子を少し持って
行った。
ただ、係員によると、お手洗いに行きたい場合は自分の前後の人に伝えれば大丈夫だとの
ことだった。

ふなっしーの顔型の透明なカバーがかかっていて、中は白い煙が充満していた。
写真を撮り終わったのを見て、店員がカバーを外した。
その様子を動画で撮影。
形をいたムースにかけて食べるようにと説明があった。
イリュージョンは、ふなっしーの背中にあるチャックで、ふなっしーはテレビでこの
チャックを開けて物を食べることがあるけれど、中の人の顔は絶対に見せない。
脚の青いムースだけを食べると、クリームチーズのような味だった。
頭の黄色い部分はマンゴーだった。
両方ともふんわり軽かったけれど、濃厚な 風味があった。
イチゴ、ラズベリー、ブルーベリー、マンゴーが添えられていた。
梨汁の量は少なかったけれど、スプーンですくったムースと食べても香りがはっきり
分かった。
目はチョコレートでできていた。
キキ&ララカフェ同様、食べ物や飲み物は美味しかった。
ただ、店員によって連日の盛況振りにストレスが溜まっているのか能面のように無表情
だったり、言い方がきつい人もいたので、店員にふなっしーのような元気が出たり
思いやりのある対応は期待しないで行くと良い。

メモ：
1人で並んでいたため、途中でお手洗いに行くのは難しいと思い、家を出る前に水をコップ
1杯だけ飲み、貧血を起こさないためにカロリーを摂取できるようにお菓子を少し持って
行った。
ただ、係員によると、お手洗いに行きたい場合は自分の前後の人に伝えれば大丈夫だとの
ことだった。
