On the launching date of McChurros and McShake, I tried McChurros Cinnamon Sugar and McShake Banana.
Today I tried McChurros Maple Flavor Syrup and McFlurry Mango Passion Orange.

Items I've reviewed from McDonald's Japan is the following.

McChurros Maple Flavor Syrup
The paper bag was exactly the same one from Cinnamon Sugar, but it's served with a piece of syrup which comes with pancakes.
This syrup isn't 100% pure maple syrup, that's why it says "Maple Flavor" I think.

The churro in the bag was the same thick and bread-alike stick.

When I peeled off the lid of the syrup, it's fully filled so that I thought I'd spill some.

When I dipped the McChurros into the syrup, the syrup raised as if someone goes into a bath with full of water.

The syrup was very runny so I rubbed the churro against the edge of the cup to leave the excess syrup so that nothing would drop on my clothes.

Outside was crispy and had light crunchiness, and the inside was chewy and soft.
This churro absorbed the fluid syrup well and the syrup wasn't too sweet.
I could taste some sweetness of the churro, that was technically a stick of bread, thanks to the decently sweetened syrup.

If they could make the syrup smaller like half the size, it'd be nicer so that there'd be less to toss it away.

I tried dipping the fries, and they tasted quite tasty despite I thought it'd be disgusting.

McFlurry Mango Passion Orange
They have 2 McFlurry flavors; Salt Caramel and Mango Passion Orange.
I've never seen any latter ice cream flavor, so I decided to get Mango one.

With vanilla ice cream, mango puree and sweet bitter gummy cubes were mixed.

Anywhere I scooped, the orange flavored gummies were there and they had stronger orange flavor than mango puree.

Gummy tasted similar to orange peel and had bitterness, and the texture was touch and so chewy that they sort of stuck on the teeth.

If there'd been less weird orange flavored gummies, I'd like it more.


McChurros: 159 JPY (tax incl.) available till early in June.
McFlurry: 276 JPY (tax incl.) available till late in May.


マックチュロスとマックシェイクの発売日に、シナモンシュガーのチュロスとバナナ味のシェイクを
買った。
今日はチュロスのメープルフレーバーシロップとマックフルーリーのマンゴーパッションオレンジを
食べた。

これまで書いた日本マクドナルドの商品は以下。

マックチュロス メープルフレーバーシロップ
シナモンシュガーと同じ紙袋に入っていて、パンケーキに添えられているシロップが出された。
このシロップはメープルシロップ100%ではないため、「メープル風味のシロップ」という意味の
カタカナ表記になっていると思う。

チュロスはやはり太く、パンのような棒状だった。
シロップはカップ一杯に入っていて、蓋をめくるときからあふれ出してきそうなほど。
マックチュロスをシロップのカップに入れると、お湯を満杯に溜めたお風呂に人が入ったように
シロップが溢れそうになった。
シロップはかなり緩かったので、洋服に垂れないように余分なシロップをトレーの端で落とした。

チュロスの外側はカリッとしていて軽く、内側は柔らかくもちもちしていた。
このチュロスはとろっとしたシロップを良く吸った。
シロップは甘すぎなかったので、チュロス（と言うよりは棒状のパン）の甘さが感じられた。

半分程度余ったシロップは捨てる他なかったので、量がもう少し少なければ無駄にならないと思う。

試しに余ったシロップをポテトに付けてみると、意外なことに美味しかった。


マックフルーリー マンゴーパッションオレンジ
2種類のマックフルーリーが出ていて、1つは塩キャラメル、もう1つはマンゴーパッションオレンジ。
後者のフレーバーは他で見たことがないので、マンゴーのマックフルーリーを頼んだ。

バニラアイスにマンゴーピューレと、苦味のあるオレンジ味の小さなグミが入っていた。
どこをすくってもグミがあり、マンゴーピューレの味よりもオレンジの苦味が強かった。
グミはオレンジピールのような苦さがあり、噛んでいると歯にくっつきそうな食感だった。

この食感も味もあまり良くないグミが少なければ、もっと美味しかったと思う。


マックチュロス メープルフレーバーシロップ： 税込159円 （6月上旬まで）
マックフルーリー マンゴーパッションオレンジ： 税込276円 （5月下旬まで）
