ドンクの桜もちパン
(Japanese follows. / 日本語は以下へ続く。)
I saw Sakuramochi Pan at DONQ, a bakery chain the other day, and it's labeled as new, I bought one.
Pan means bread in Japanese.
Sakuramochi is a traditional Japanese confectionery made with pink-tinted mochi (sticky rice cake) holing sweet red bean jam paste and wrapped in a salt picked Sakura leaf.
This bread was made to look like the sweets and had a green leaf shaped dough over a pale pink bread.
It's about 10cm (3.93 inch) in diameter.

Bottom
From the first bite, I could reach the strained sweet red bean jam, and the green leaf shaped biscuit was soft and had salted Sakura leaf scent.
There're fine dots and I think they use finely chopped Sakura leaves.
This bread had a good balance of sweetness and saltiness with a whole Sakuramochi in the center, and the mochi was soft and chewy.
Sakuramochi Pan: about 200 yen
