The other day, I went to Village Bagels in Stamford to stock up some more rainbow bagels at home.
There're 10 pieces left before noon and I bought them all, and also I got a small cup of lox spread.

It's a 1/4 lb. (4 oz, 113g) cup.

They put cream cheese to the very top.

Lox spread is a mix of lox (brined salmon) and cream cheese.
I've had salmon and cream cheese sandwiches and bagels, but it's my fist time to try lox spread.
Compared with salmon fillet with cream cheese, it had less fishy scent and more sweetness, and the aftertaste was similar to Ikura, salmon roes. (Of course there's no salmon roe.)

レインボーベーグルを蓄えるため、スタンフォードにあるビレッジベーグルに行った。

正午前に着くと10個残っていたので全部買い、一緒にロックス スプレッドも小さな
カップで買った。

1/4ポンド（4オンス、113グラム）のカップ。

クリームチーズは縁までたっぷり入っていた。

ロックススプレッドは鮭とクリームチーズを混ぜたもので、ロックス（lox）とは塩漬けの

鮭のこと。

鮭とクリームチーズのサンドイッチやベーグルを食べたことはあったけれど、今回初めて

ロックススプレッドを食べた。

味は鮭の切り身が乗っているものに比べ、魚臭さがあまりなく、ほんのり甘みがあり、

後味がイクラのようだった。（でも、もちろんイクラは入っていない）
