I got a Spinach Bagel at Village Bagels today.
In the dough, there're tiny green dots and I think they're minced spinach.

Inside of the bagel was brighter green.

There're also little dots inside, too.

I put plain cream cheese at home, and it's softer than plain bagel but chewier than egg bagel.
It had onion flavor, and I tasted that inside of the bagel, not only the outside, so I assume they used onion with spinach for this bagel.
Aftertaste had some green spinach flavor, but not that strong I wonder if the bright color is from food coloring.

今日、ビレッジベーグルズのほうれん草ベーグルを買った。

生地に細かい緑の点々があり、ほうれん草を刻んだものだと思う。

内側は明るい緑色だった。

内側にも点々が見えた。

プレーンクリームチーズを家で塗って食べたところ、プレーンベーグルよりも柔らかい
けれど、エッグベーグルよりももっちりしていた。
外側だけではなく内側にもタマネギの味がしたので、ほうれん草だけではなくタマネギも
使われていたと思う。
後味はほうれん草の味が少しあったものの強くはなかったので、この明るい色は着色料に
よるものなのか気になる。
