We went to Patsy's Pizzeria in upper west for the first time.
It's on a Saturday evening, but we could sit without reservation that day.
We were seated right after we went in, around 5:50 PM, and about a half of the restaurant was filled.
Menu
We ordered an Old School Round Pie (small) and a Baked Ziti (small).
A basket of warm rolls was brought and the outside was crispy and the inside was soft and moist.
Old School Round Pie
It's ready in about 10 minutes after we ordered.
Topped with fresh basils.
The crust was puffy.
My husband doesn't like basils so that he removed all of them and put the on my side.
Over fresh tomato sauce with chopped basils, there're gooey melted mozzarella cheese.
The crust reminded me of Neapolitan style pizza as it's taller and not as flat as New York style.
Coal oven baked pizza was fragrant and the bottom had a nice char marks.
The tomato sauce was lightly sour, mozzarella cheese was milky and rich, and the crust was crispy and the center was soft and chewy.
I liked the moist and slightly soggy center a lot because I like Neapolitan style pizza.
Baked Ziti
Light tomato sauce with ricotta and topped with mozzarella
Melted mozzarella cheese was covering the pasta.
In the tomato sauce, there're chopped basils and the tomato sauce was close to pink as it contained ricotta cheese.
Mozzarella cheese was really stringy.

初めてアッパーウエストにあるパッツィズ ピッツェリアに行った。
土曜の夕方に行ったけれど、予約がなくても座ることができた。
17:50頃に入店し、半分ほどの席が埋まっていた店内ですぐに席へ案内された。
メニュー
オールドスクール ラウンドパイ（S）とベイクドズィティ（S）を頼んだ。
温かいパンが出され、外側がパリッとし内側はふわっとしていた。
オールドスクール ラウンドパイ
注文後10分程度で出来上がった。
バジルが散っていた。
耳の部分がプクッと盛り上がっていた。
旦那はバジルが嫌いなので、すべて取り除いて私の方に乗せた。
刻んだバジル入りのフレッシュトマトソースの上に、とろっと溶けたモッツァレラ
チーズが乗っていた。
高い耳はナポリタンスタイルのピザのようで、平らなニューヨークスタイルとは異なる
ものだった。
炭のオーブンで焼いたピザは香ばしく、底に良い焼き色がついていた。
トマトソースは少し酸味があり、モッツァレラチーズはミルクが濃厚で、クラスとはサク
サクし、ピザの中心近くはもっちり柔らかかった。
私はナポリタンスタイルのピザが好きなので、中央のしっとりした少しべとっとした
食感が良かった。
ベイクドズィティ
リコッタチーズ入りトマトソース、モッツァレラチーズ乗せ
溶けたモッツァレラチーズがたっぷりかかっていた。
トマトソースに細かく刻んだバジルが入っていて、リコッタ入りのトマトソースは少し
ピンクがかっていた。
モッツァレラはとても良く伸びた。
