Sakura Ice Cream From Baskin Robbins

A friend of mine in Brazil sent me a link that Baskin Robbins in Japan launched a new monthly flavor called "Sakura."
According to a press release, Sakura flavor was launched in 1992 for the first time and they renewed the recipe after 24 years.
The ice cream is Sakura Mochi flavored, and Sakura Mochi is a Japanese traditional confectionary and it's pink colored sticky rice with sweet bean jam paste inside and wrapped in salted Sakura leave.
Velvety textured ribbon is also Sakura Mochi flavor, and salted Sakura leaves are also in the ice cream.
I also got a "Love Portion #31 Dark" that was a seasonal flavor.
The order to be served on the cone wasn't selectable and Sakura was at the bottom.
Usually Baskin Robbins place ice creams vertically but mine was tiled as if the Tower of Pisa.
I paid extra caution not to drop any ice cream.
When I took a close look, there're really fine green dots in the pale pink ice cream and they're finely chopped Sakura leaves.
Sakura Mochi flavored ice cream smooth, light, and salty because of the salted leaves, and the ribbon had floral aftertaste.
Because of the order, I started eating Love Portion #31 Dark to make the unbalanced ice cream stable, and I wish the order was opposite as the Sakura flavor was delicate and I preferred tasting something fine to rich and chocolatey.

プレスリリースによると、さくら味のアイスクリームは1992年に新登場し、24年ぶりに
生まれ変わったらしい。
アイスクリームは桜餅フレーバーで、とろりとしたリボンも桜餅味、さらに塩漬けにした
桜の葉がアイスに入っている。
季節のフレーバーだった「ラブポーション サーティワン ダーク」も一緒に買った。
アイスを順番は自分では選べず、さくら味が下になっていた。
31アイスは普段はアイスを垂直に積むけれど、今回のものはピサの斜塔のように傾いて
いたので、アイスを落とさないように注意しながら食べた。
よく見てみると、淡いピンクのアイスの中に小さな緑色の点々があり、これは細かく
切った桜の葉だった。
桜餅味のアイスクリームは滑らかで軽く、塩漬けの葉が入っていたので塩気もあり、
リボンの後味は花の香りだった。
不安定なアイスのバランスを取るために盛られていた通りの順にラブポーション サーティ
ワン ダークから食べ始めたのたけれど、最初は濃厚でチョコレートの味が濃いものよりも
軽い風味のアイスを味わいたかったので、順番が反対だったら良かった。
