Baskin Robbins launched "Banana Split Sundae" on September 1, 2015 worldwide to celebrate its 70th anniversary of the business.
It's the very first flavor available on the simultaneous date worldwide.
Banana Split Sundae is a classic sundae!
Banana ice cream with pineapple flesh, almonds covered in chocolate, cherry coated with chocolate, and chocolate fudge and strawberry ribbons.
Besides Banana Split Sundae, they relaunched 5 American Classic Flavors which were sold when Baskin Robbins first begin operation and some of the most popular seasonal flavors.
All the 6 flavors are sold for a limited time only.
They also have a special 70th Anniversary Sundae called "Popcorn & Banana Sundae."
I got a kid's size.
The design on the cup was different form pink and blue cup.
The ice cream was almost white with subtle yellow hue.
I could see some chocolate ribbons with a few strawberry ribbons.
The ice cream had fruity banana flavor and pines were sweet and sour.
There're chocolate covered chunks, and larger pieces were cherries and smaller ones were crunchy almonds.
Banana flavor was strong enough to notice and the ingredients recreated the classic sundae flavor well.
If it came with those element representing whipped cream or caramel sauce, it'd have been easier to say it's a banana split sundae.
When I read a leaflet set at the counter, there're chronicles of logos.
1953; the logo was cherry and chocolate colors as they're the most popular toppings.
1970s; mini dots representing balloons were added.
1991; blue and pink describing male and female with the thought "to provide all the customers happiness."
Now; BR shows 31 and they'd love to deliver surprise and more-thananticipated happiness.

31アイスは2015年9月1日に創業70周年記念フレーバー「バナナスプリットサンデー」を
発売した。
また、これは31アイス史上初の世界同時発売フレーバー。
バナナスプリットサンデーはアメリカの定番サンデーをイメージしたもので、バナナ
アイスクリームにパイナップル果肉、チョコがけしたアーモンド、チェリー入りチョコに
チョコレートファッジとストロベリーのリボンがミックスされているらしい。
バナナスプリットサンデーに加えて、5種類のアメリカン クラシック フレーバーズが発売
され、これは創業当時にあった味や、過去に人気のあった期間限定味が今だけ販売されて
いる。
70周年記念のスペシャルサンデー「ポップコーン&バナナサンデー」も販売されている。
私はキッズサイズをカップで食べた。
カップのデザインがこれまでのピンクとブルーのものと違っていた。
アイスクリームはほぼ白色で、淡く黄色がかっていた。
チョコレートソースがいくつか見え、ストロベリーリボンは少しだけ入っていた。
アイスクリームはフルーティーなバナナの味がし、甘酸っぱいパイナップルも入って
いた。
チョコレートの塊が入っていて、大きなものはチェリー入りで、小さなものはカリッと
したアーモンドだった。
バナナはすぐに分かる味の濃さで、クラシックサンデーの味によく似せた材料が使われて
いたと思う。
もし生クリームやキャラメルソースの要素が入っていたら、もっとバナナスプリット
サンデーと簡単に分かったと思う。
カウンターにあったリーフレットを読むと、歴代のロゴが載っていた。

1991年； 「すべてのお客様に幸せを」という想いから男女を表すブルーとピンクに変更
現在： BRに31が隠れていて、お客様に驚きと期待以上の幸せを届けたいという想いが
込めてある
