I found Dannon Oikos Red Velvet Cake at the supermarket, and even though I was skeptical about the flavor, I bought it as it’s labeled as “limited edition.”

On the lid and cup, there’s an image of red velvet cake.

When I saw the content, I was quite surprised how red it was, which wasn’t vivid but a bit dusty and greyish red like the edges and surface of the cake when it’s baked.

It had a regular yogurt scent, but it tasted like a cake with cocoa aftertaste.

The sourness of the yogurt recreated the flavor of cream cheese between the red velvet cake, and it’s better than I had expected it would be.

The flavor was something that not everyone would love but at least it’s not mediocre.

スーパーでダノン オイコス レッドベルベットケーキ味のヨーグルトを見つけた。

あまり美味しそうな印象はなかったけれど、「限定」と書かれていたので買ってみた。

蓋にもカップにも、レッドベルベットケーキの画像が載っていた。

中身を見ると、思った以上に赤色が濃くびっくりした。

鮮やかな赤ではなく、少しくすんだ灰色がかった赤色で、焼きあがったケーキの縁や

表面のようんだった。

香りは普通のヨールグとと変わらなかったけれど、味はケーキに似ていて、後味はココア

だった。

ヨーグルトの酸味がレッドベルベットケーキの間に挟まれているクリームチーズの味を

再現しているようで、思ったよりも美味しかった。

食べた人全員が美味しいと言う味ではないものの、不味くはなかった。
