I've seen some almond yogurt which is non-dairy yogurt but never tried one.
Yesterday, my husband bought an almond yogurt called "Almond Dream" manufactured by Hain Celestial.
The group focuses on natural and organic food, personal care products, and meat/dairy alternatives.

On the cup and lid, there're labels of "NEW" but they added this Almond Dream Yogurt to the portfolio on February 15, 2012, so I don't know from what perspective they claim "new."

When they produced this yogurt, there're 4 flavors; plain, vanilla, strawberry and mixed berry.

By the way, it's also a ⓤ kosher.

I was wondering why there's D next to it as it's supposed to be "non dairy" and "lactose free."

According to a site I found, the OU (ⓤ mark) would label it OU-D although no dairy is contained if something is made on equipments which manufactures dairy products.

On the back side of the cup, there're summaries of the product.

It looked like a regular dairy yogurt, but a little bit flabbier and shinier.

It's a mix of strawberry, raspberry and blueberry and they had very sweet scent.

When I had a bite, it first tasted like an ordinary mix berry yogurt with light and jiggly texture like jelly.

Gradually almond flavor came out and in the end, I tasted mix berry and almond.

To me, the texture was somewhere between low fat milk yogurt and jelly and the flavor was yogurt-ish at the beginning but changed into almond later.

これまでに乳成分を含まないアーモンドヨーグルトを見たことがあったけれど、食べた

ことはなかった。

昨日、旦那が「アーモンド ドリーム」というアーモンドヨーグルトを買ってきてくれた。

これはヘイン・セレスチャルという会社が製造していて、この会社は主に自然食材、有機

栽培食材、日常介護用品、お肉や乳成分の代替品を扱っている。

カップも蓋にも「新商品」とラベルが付いていたけれど、2012年2月15日にアーモンド

ドリーム ヨーグルトが初めて製品ラインに加えられたので、どの部分が新商品なのかは

よく分からない。

発売当時のフレーバーは、プレーン、バニラ、イチゴ、ミックスベリーの4種類で、今回

食べたミックスベリーは当時からある味。

ちなみに、この商品は ⓤマークが付いているので、コーシャー食品。

* コーシャー（Kosher）とは、ユダヤの戒律・慣習に従い、適正に処理・調理されたもの

ただ、このマークの隣に乳製品を 表すDが載っていたので疑問に思った。

このヨーグルトは「乳成分、乳糖を含まない」と謳っているので、なぜDマークが付いて

いるのか調べ、辿り着いたサイトによると「乳成分を含有していなくても、乳製品を含む

商品を製造した機械を使って製造された場合はDマークが付く」ということらしい。

カップの背面には商品特徴の要約があった。

通常の乳成分を含むヨーグルトとあまり見た目に変化はないけれど、ぷるぷるしていて

艶があった。

イチゴ、ラズベリー、ブルーベリーが混ざっていて、甘い香りがした。

食べてみると、最初はよくあるミックスベリーの ヨーグルトと似たような味で、食感は

ゼリーに近いサラサラ、ぷるぷるしたものだった。

徐々にアーモンドの香りが口、鼻に抜けて行き、最後はミックスベリーとアーモンドの

味だった。

牛乳で作られた低脂肪ヨーグルトとゼリーの中間のような食感で、最初はヨーグルト味で

少しずつアーモンドに変化していった。
