On May 13, 2014, Akagi Nyugyo who produces Garigarikun (shaved ice candy) launched another collaborated flavor with a Japanese vocal group called "GReeeeN," that's how they spell it.

There're 4 singers in GReeeeN and they were in dental college when they set up the group.

Currently they all dental surgeons and singers.

As of today, none of them has unveiled their real names or faces.

The flavor is called "Hotobashiru Seishun No Aji."

Underneath "Garigarikun Rich!," a kind of subtitle-ish line is laid: Gari GaReeeeeN.

It's Garigarikun x GReeeeN.

On the yellow ribbon, it says "Green Apple Yogurt Flavor."

And on the green ribbon, "With Ramune."

"Ramune" is similar to Pez and it's sweet and sour tablets.

According to the drawing image, outside is green apple flavored ice cream, the shaved ice has yogurt flavor, and there're colorful Ramune tablets inside.

Garigarikun is eating a spoonful of yogurt, Ramune tablets, and a piece of apple that has rabbit ears designed peel. 

All over the package, there're items which are related to school days like a paper airplane made from exam paper which only got 25 points (I assume out of 100), a pencil, an eraser, a triangle ruler, graffiti, a love letter, an umbrella which has names on to show they're in love.

The color was pale green.

After a bit, I saw shaved ice and a Ramune dot.

So I bit more then I saw these Ramune below (purple, green and yellow).

Ramune dots were put in the shaved ice a lot, and every time I bit, I had all the sweet flavors from green apple, yogurt and Ramune together.

Green apple and yogurt were refreshing, especially the shaved ice part, and Ramune added sweet but sour taste.

With green apple, yogurt and Ramune, it's sweet and sour, which usually used when people talk about Seishun (youth) days.

The naming of this Garigarikun made sense to me even though I was a little bit afraid it'd be salty as I think of club activities I was a part of through all the school years.

2014年5月13日、赤城乳業GReeeeNとコラボしたガリガリ君を発売した。

GReeeeNとは4人組の日本人歌手グループで、結成時は全員歯学部に在籍していた。

現在は歯科医と音楽活動を両立している。

また、これまで一切本名や素顔を見せたことがないグループ。

新しいフレーバーは「ほとばしる青春の味」という名前。

その下には英語で「Gari GaReeeeN」とガリガリ君とGReeeeNのコラボを表す副題のような

ものが書かれていた。

また、その下には「青りんごヨーグルト味　ラムネ入り」とあり、味の想像ができた。

アイスの画によると、外側が青りんご味、かき氷部分はヨーグルト味、その中に色とりどりの

ラムネが入っているらしい。

ガリガリ君はスプーンに入ったヨーグルト、カラフルなラムネ、青りんごのうさぎを食べていて、

パッケージ全体には学生生活を思い起こさせるような小道具が散らばっている。

25点の答案用紙で作った紙飛行機（おそらく100点満点のテスト）、鉛筆、消しゴム、三角定規、

落書き、ラブレター、相合傘。

アイスは淡い緑色で、一口食べるとすぐにかき氷になり、その中にはラムネが1粒見つかった。

さらに食べ進めると、紫、緑、黄色のラムネが沢山出て来た。

かき氷の中にかなりの量のラムネが入っていて、どこを食べても青りんご、ヨーグルト、ラムネの

甘くて酸っぱい味が口に広がった。

青りんごはすっきりしていて、ヨーグルトもかき氷になっていたのでさっぱりしていた。

ラムネは甘さと酸味を足していた。

青りんご、ヨーグルト、ラムネで甘酸っぱいアイスで、青春という言葉とセットで使われることが多い

「甘酸っぱい」という表現にぴったりの味だった。

学生時代ずっと部活に入っていたので、塩味を想像していたけれど、「ほとばしる青春の味」は、

このフレーバーに最適のネーミングだと思った。
