Calbee launched "Kuromitsu Kinako" flavored Kataage Potato on March 21, 2016.
Kataage means crunchy fried, and in this case, it's kettle cooked chips.

Kuromitsu is brown sugar syrup, and kinako is roasted soybean flour.
Both are often served with Warabimochi, bracken starch dumplings.

It has rich sweet flavor of kuromitsu and fragrant kinako, and it's addictively tasty!
It's sweet and salty crunchy potato chips.

The chips had sweet and roasted kinako scent.

The chips had sweet brown sugar syrup flavor, and also powdery kinako flavor.
These sweet and fragrant flavors reminded me of warabimochi.
At the end, it had some saltiness close to soy sauce.

It's not that tasty but it's not awful either.

2016年3月21日、カルビーから黒みつきなこ味の堅あげポテトが発売された。

裏

ポテトチップスは甘く、香ばしいきな粉の香りがした。

ポテトチップスは甘い黒みつの味と、粉っぽいきな粉の味がした。
甘く香ばしい味なので、わらび餅が頭に浮かんだ。
最後には醤油に似た塩気があった。

特に美味しくもなく、かと言ってまずくもなかった。
