I tried Ding Dong produced by Hostess brand.

When I had Ding Dong for the first time was at Carl's Jr. and it's a Ding Dong Ice Cream Sandwich.

There're 2 Ding Dongs in the package and they're both fully covered in chocolate.

It's similar to Hostess CupCake, but Ding Dong is flatter and like a slice of column or an ice hockey puck.

From the side, you can see it's flat on the top and the side wasn't trapezoid.

Underneath the chocolate coating, the cake was chocolate and from the first bite, I could reach the fluffy cream filling.

The chocolate coating and cake were both subtly bitter and not too sweet.
It had alcoholic scent though the ingredients lists didn't mention any liquor, but my husband guessed that it might be from preservatives.
I think Ice Cream Sandwich tastes better than Ding Dong itself.

ホステスブランドのディングドングを食べた。

最初に食べたのはカールズジュニアで、ディングドングがアイスクリームサンドイッチに
なったものだった。

2個のディングドングが入っていて、両方ともチョコレートで完全に覆われていた。
ホステスのカップケーキに似ているけれど、ディングドングは平らで円柱をスライスした
ような、アイスホッケーのパックに似た形をしている。
横から見ると表面は平らで、側面は台形ではないことが分かる。

チョコレートコーティングの下にはチョコレートケーキがあり、1口目から中に入っていた
ふわっとしたクリームフィリングが出てきた。

チョコレートコーティングもケーキも少しだけ苦さがあり、甘すぎることはなかった。
また、原材料名には載っていなかったもののアルコールのような香りがした。
旦那は保存料の香りなのではないかと言っていた。
このまま食べるよりも、以前食べたアイスクリーム サンドイッチの方が美味しかった。
