At Smorgasburg, my husband got a Beer Battered Cheese Curds from Curd's The Word.

He bought a small sized Original with Zesty Buffalo Sauce.

This is a small size tray with lots of fried cheese curds.

The batter was similar to fish and chips' fish batter as they're lightly crispy because of beer but not crunchy like Fried Cheese Curds from A&W.

The cheese curd was soft and no squeakiness, and I think they used a couple of days old curds.
I liked A&W's ones much better as the batter had more flavor, crunchiness (as it's not beer batter) and most importantly, they had squeakiness.

Zesty Buffalo Sauce had some heat, but the creamy texture and richness helped it to cover intense spiciness and made it mild.

スモーガスバーグで、旦那がカーズ ザ ワードでビアバター チーズカードを買った。
* ビアバター（beer batter）はビールが入った衣

サイズはSを選び、ソースはゼスティー バッファローにした。
衣はフィッシュ&チップスのようで、ビールが入っているため軽くサクサクした食感で、
カリッとしたA&Wのフライドチーズカードの衣とは異なるものだった。
チーズカードは柔らかく、歯応えはなかったので日が経ったチーズカードを使っていた
のかもしれない。
A&Wの衣の方が風味がよく、ビアバターではないためもっとカリッとした食感が
あり、チーズカードにも歯応えが残っていて好きだった。

ゼスティー バッファローソースは名前通り少しピリッとした辛さがあったものの、濃厚で
クリーミーな質感が辛さを抑えマイルドにしていたと思う。
