Yo-Kai Watch Milk Rusk
妖怪ウォッチ ミルクラスク

My husband got me a "Yo-Kai Watch Milk Rusk" which was launched on February 1, 2015.
I didn't pay close attention, but Yamazaki Baking Co., Ltd. has been manufacturing Yo-Kai Watch baked items since August 2014, and they added 14 new items including this milk rusk this February.
14 items to launch at the same time sounds very crazy and also reminds me how influential and many think Yo-Kai Watch items can make lots of profit.
The red cat is Jibanyan, white cat is Komasan, the kappa on the far left is Nogappa, the green seaweed on the far right is Wakame☆Star, a leveled-up Wakame-Kun, and the red-brown human-looking character is Captain Bully, which you can tell it's a parody of Captain Billy from Billy's Bootcamp. --- Captain Bully has a horn on his forehead.
I've read an article that said Yo-Kai Watch contains jokes which can be understood by only adults, and that made sense when I saw Captain Bully. (I don't think elementary school/middle school students know about Billy's Bootcamp.)
I feel like every time I try Yo-Kai Watch goods, I encounter new characters that I don't know the names.
It's time-consuming to search the names by typing the aspects of the physical features...
On the right top of the package, it says, "Yo-Kai Watch Pan" and pan here means bread, and it's the name of the baked goods series since August 2014.
Underneath, it says, "アッカンベーカリー (Akkanbe-kari-)" that appears in Sakura New Town where Keita Amano, a main character, lives.
It's a coined word of "Akkanbe-" and "Be-kari- (bakery)," and Akkanbe- means a Japanese facial gesture to insult someone with a index finger pulling the lower eyelid and sticking your tongue out.
There's a plastic tray inside and there're 3 rusks.
Front side had shiny sugar all over.
The back side was just toasted and lightly brown.
It's about 1cm (0.4 inch) tall and the crust was partially sugared.
It's sweet, crispy, light, and very simple flavored rusk without buttery taste.
Heavy cream was listed in the ingredients list, but I didn't really taste much milk flavor but dried bread with sugar.
Like other Yo-Kai Watch items I tried, there's a mini pouch of sticker.
This is an Omikuji, paper fortune, and I got a 小吉 (Sho-kichi, Small Blessing).
The character is called "りもこんかくし (Rimokon Kakushi)."
Rimokon is what we call a remote controller and Kakushi is a form of Kakusu, a verb meaning to hide.
At the bottom, it explains about this character; Rimokon Kakushi loves TV remote controllers and he takes them out calling it a "date." The reason you find them somewhere unexpected, it's because of him.

旦那が2015年2月1日に発売された「妖怪ウォッチ ミルクラスク」を買ってきてくれた。
あまり注意を払っていなかったのだけれど、山崎製パンは2014年8月から妖怪ウォッチパン
シリーズを販売していて、このミルクラスクを含む14種類の新商品が2月に加わった。
14種類を一度に発売するとはかなりすごいことだと思い、さらに妖怪ウォッチの影響力と
利益性があることを再確認させられた。
以下、袋のキャラクターについて。
赤い猫は「ジバニャン」、白猫は「コマさん」、左端の青い河童は「ノガッパ」、右端の
海藻はワカメくんがレベルアップした「ワカメ☆スター」、そして中心にいる赤茶色の
人間に似たキャラクターは「ブリー隊長」で、想像がつく通りビリーズブーとキャンプの
ビリー隊長をパロディにしたもの。--- ブリー隊長の額には角がある。
とある記事で妖怪ウォッチは大人しか分からないジョークもあると読んだことがあり、
このブリー隊長を見て妙に納得。（小学生はビリーズブートキャンプは知らないと思う）
妖怪ウォッチの商品を食べる度に名前が分からない新しいキャラクターが出て来るので、
身体的な特徴を入力して名前を調べるのに時間がかかる。

袋の右上には「妖怪ウォッチパン」と2014年8月から発売されているシリーズの名前が
載っていた。
その下に主人公の天野景太が暮らすさくらニュータウンにある「アッカンベーカリー」と
あった。
これはアッカンベーとベーカリーを合わせた造語。
中にはプラスチックのトレーが入っていて、3枚のラスクが並べられていた。
ラスクの表は砂糖が付いてキラキラし、裏は単にトーストしただけで淡い茶色だった。
厚みは1センチ程度で、耳にはところどころ砂糖が付いていた。
甘くサクサクし、軽い食感でとてもシンプルなラスクでバターの風味はなかった。
生クリームが原材料名に入っていたけれど、あまりミルクの風味はなく乾いたパンと砂糖
と言った印象。
他の妖怪ウォッチ商品と同じく、中にはシール入りの小袋が入っていた。
おみくじシールは小吉で、キャラクターは「りもこんかくし」というテレビのリモコンを
愛し、デートと称してどこかに連れて行ってしまい、リモコンが意外な場所で見つかる
原因はこの妖怪らしい。
