A former intern who worked for my husband was in the city and he came to our place with 2 Bead Papa's mini puffs.
I've seen the same branch he went to, but it's my first time to try their cream puffs in the states as in Japan, I don't think they sell mini puffs.

One of the flavors was "Apple Cinnamon" and he said it's today's special flavor.

There're 5 mini puffs in a box, and each was sprinkled with white powder sugar.
The diameter was about 5cm (2 inch).

It's about 3 - 4 height.

The choux pastry shell was light, fragile, and crispy that are exactly same texture that regular sized Beard Papa's cream puff has.

The filling had rich cinnamon flavor with refreshing, sweet, and sour apple flavor.
It didn't have intense cinnamon taste to compare with the scent, and the smooth cream filling with apple flavor, I enjoyed this mini puffs.


以前旦那の下で働いていたインターンがニューヨーク市内にいて、ビアードパパの
シュークリームを買って家に遊びに来てくれた。

今まで店舗は見たことがあったけれどアメリカで一度も買ったことがなく、日本では
売っていない（と思う）ミニパフを初めて食べることができた。

もらった2種類のうち、1つは「アップルシナモン」で今日のフレーバーとして販売されて
いたらしい。
箱の中にはミニシュークリームが5個入っていて、白いパウダーシュガーが かかっていた。
直径は約5センチで、高さは3〜4センチ程度あった。

シュークリームの皮は軽く、もろく、サクサクしていて、ビアードパパの通常サイズの
シュークリームと全く同じ食感だった。
フィリングはシナモンの強い香りがし、リンゴのさっぱりした甘さと酸味があった。
シナモンの味は香りほど強くなく、リンゴの味がしっかりした滑らかなクリームのお蔭で
美味しく食べられた。
