Acecook Co., Ltd., an instant noodles producer and distributor, launched 2 types of instant noodles on June 16, 2014.
Acecook based in Osaka was founded in 1954 and their symbol mark is a pig wearing a cock uniform and a pan in a hand.
The new noodles are "Ethnic Cafe" series; Tom Yum Goong and Green Curry flavors.
I tried Tom Yum Goong today.

Tom Yum Goong Noodles.
The package uses vivid pink and the diamond in the center is surrounded by photos of hot peppers and spices, noodles, shrimps, and lemongrass.
They use lemongrass from Thailand but process it in Japan.
On the lid, it's all bright pink.
The other 2 Tom Yum Goong noodles had very strong scent of herbs and ethnic spices when I opened the lid, but this one had such a light flavor to compare with them.
Also, this one didn't come with a mini package of seasoning paste to add before you eat.
Following the direction, I peeled the lid to the little white arrows and poured hot water to the line inside. (330ml)
And let it sit for about 3 minutes.
After 3 minutes, all the ingredients were cooked.
There're shrimps, leeks, red bell peppers, and green leaves that were ging-geng-cai and coriander, according to their press release.
The soup had a little bit stronger scent after pouring hot water, but still the flavor wasn't sharp.
It had refreshing flavor from lemongrass and the soup tasted like chicken with ethnic spices and saltiness like fish oil.
Also it had sourness like authentic Tom Yum Goong soup.
The noodles were flattened but had some thickness so that they're not too soft but had firmness.
The slightly wavy noodles caught soup and toppings well.
Among those Tom Yum Goong flavored noodles I've had, this one had the lightest herb flavors.
I think this soup was designed for those who don't like authentic and distinctive Thai (or Asian) spices and flavors as this tasted the least strong to compare with the other 2 noodles.

新しいインスタント麺は「エスニックカフェ」シリーズで、トムヤムクン風とグリーンカレーの2種類。
今日はトムヤムクン風を食べてみた。

トムヤムクン風のパッケージは明るいピンクを使い、商品名が書かれた菱形の回りは
唐辛子やスパイス、麺、海老、レモングラスの写真に囲まれている。
レモングラスはタイのものを日本で加工し、使っている。
蓋はカップと同じ明るいピンク色だった。
これまでに食べた2種類のトムヤムクン味のインスタント麺は、蓋をめくるとハーブやスパイスの
かなり強い香りがあったけれど、これはそれほど香りが強くなかった。
また、これは食べる直前に足す別添えの液状のスパイスが付いていなかった。
作り方に沿って白い小さな矢印まで蓋をめくり、内側の線まで熱湯（330ml）を注いで3分ほど
待った。
3分後、全ての具材と麺が戻っていた。
スープには海老、ネギ、赤パプリカ、緑色の葉が入っていた。
プレスリリースによると、緑の葉はチンゲン菜とコリアンダーだった。
スープはお湯を注ぐ前よりも香りが強くなったけれど、それでも鼻を刺すような強い香りは
しなかった。
レモングラスのすっきりとした香りがあり、スープはナンプラーの塩気やスパイスの味がある
チキン味だった。
また、本物のトムヤムクンスープのような酸味もあった。
平たい麺には少し厚みがあったので、柔らかすぎず少し歯ごたえもあった。
ゆるく波打った麺がスープやかやくを適度に絡ませていた。
今まで食べたトムヤムクン味のインスタント麺の中で1番薄味で、タイ料理独特のスパイスや
風味が苦手の人にも食べやすい、いわゆる「日本人受けを考えて作られた味」という印象。
