On December 3, 2013, Lotte launched "Ichigo Wo Ajiwau Pai No Mi" for a limited time.
It's supposed to be sold till around February in 2014, but I found this in May in my hometown, Toyama prefecture.

Literal translation of the product name is "Pai No Mi which you can enjoy strawberries" and on the package, there's a pie with a lot of strawberries on.

As always, it says "64 layers of pie sheets" on the side.

"Sweet and sour strawberry flavor will come into the mouth when you bite it.

Please enjoy the crispy pie with tasty strawberry flavor."

Next to the definition of the product, there's an arrange recipe with cream cheese and strawberries.

In the box, there's a filksong with a song from The Tortoise and The Hare (Usagi to Kame, in Japanese).

It had very sweet strawberry flavor.

The surface was shiny but looked like ordinary classic Pai No Mi.

When I bit, I tasted strawberry but something else too.
According to the release, they used cassis (blackcurrant) juice powder as a secret ingredient.
So I think the interesting and sour flavor were from cassis.

It wasn't only sweet but had a bit of sour flavor so that I enjoyed the combination of the fruity flavors with crispy pie.

ロッテから2013年12月3日に「苺を味わうパイの実」が発売された。
2014年2月頃までの期間限定商品だけれど、またしてもなぜか地元（富山県）で5月に見つけた。

「苺を味わうパイの実」というネーミングにぴったりの、いちごが沢山乗ったパイの写真が
味のイメージとして箱に載っていた。

箱の側面にはいつも通り「64層のパイ」と書かれていた。
裏面には「食べた瞬間に甘酸っぱい苺の味わいが広がります」と記載されていた。
その隣にはアレンジレシピがあり、クリームチーズ、いちご、パイの実がグラスに入っていた。

箱の内側には童話「うさぎとかめ」の歌「もしもしかめよ、かめさんよ～」のリズムに合わせて歌う
替え歌の歌詞が載っていた。

袋を開けるといちごの甘い香りがした。
パイの実の表面は艶があり、見た目は通常のパイの実と同じ。

食べてみると、いちご以外の味もした。
プレスリリースを読んでみると、隠し味にカシス果汁パウダーを使っているようで、きっと独特な
味と酸味はカシスから来ているのだと思う。
甘いだけでなく酸っぱさもあり、サクサクのパイとフルーティなチョコレートがよく合っていて
美味しかった。
