Cola Flavored Soy Milk Of Kibun

Kibun Food Inc. is a Japanese food maker producing mainly fish products founded in 1947.
To stabilize the operation, Kibun formed a capital alliance with Kikkoman.
Kibun's one of the well-known products is soy milk, and they've created over 20 flavors.
One of them is Cola flavor called "Kenkou Cola" meaning "healthy cola" launched on March 3, 2014.
Though it's Cola flavored soy milk, it doesn't have gas in it, so I imagined it's flat Cola with soy milk.
When I first had a little sip, it tasted like regular Cola without gas and very sweet.
The sweet Cola flavor totally blew away the distinctive soy milk flavor and taste, so all I could taste was sweet Cola but flat.
I was actually surprised that it wasn't that bad.
If you don't like soy milk but like Cola, I think you can drink this without trouble.
* One of my readers mentioned that this is technically not a collaborated product, so it is more accurate to translate as "Cola as I write in the Japanese version," and I fixed it.

紀文の商品でよく知られているものの1つは豆乳だと思う。
豆乳のフレーバーは20種類以上出ていて、その中に2014年3月3日に発売された
「健康コーラ」というものがある。
コーラ味ではあるものの炭酸は入っていない無炭酸飲料なので、「気の抜けたコーラの味がする
豆乳」と予想して飲んでみた。
飲んでみると炭酸のパチパチした感覚はないけれど、甘いレギュラーコーラの味が強い。
豆乳の独特の香りや味が完全にかき消され、炭酸が飛んだレギュラーコーラの味だけがした。
豆乳が苦手でもコーラが好きであれば、意外と違和感なく飲める味。

To nitpick, it would be more accurate to say "cola-flavored". Coke is a brand of cola made by the Coca-cola company. Unless this is a combined effort that includes actual Coke made by Coca-cola (and it doesn't appear to be), then this is generic cola rather than Coke. Either way, it sounds pretty terrible... though kids used to mix Pepsi and milk back in the 60's and 70's (sort of like a less sweet cola-flavored float).
