Jagarico's New Flavor Is Only Available At Family Mart
じゃがりこ「かぼちゃグラタン味」がファミマ限定で登場

Jagarico is a name of snack produced by Calbee.
Besides the regular flavors (cheese and salad), they launch some limited flavors.
One of them was "Clam Chowder" in last fall, and this year, they created a new flavor and it's only available at Family Mart, a chain of conbini.

This new flavor is "Pumpkin Gratin" and it's launched on October 22, 2013.
The package has a lot of pumpkin images and a big pumpkin gratin.

The lid has same patterns but no gratin image.

I always wonder if there's anybody would put this into microwave as there's a note "Do not microwave!"

Some say it's disgusting but if you pour hot water which covers half the height of the snacks in this cup and wait for 2-3 minutes, this snack becomes mashed potato as the main ingredients are potatoes.

This snack had roasted flavor like grilled and burned cheese over gratin.

This had not only pumpkin taste but also cream flavor similar to white sauce used in gratin.
Like real pumpkin, I could taste sweetness from pumpkin.
Maybe little salt enhances the sweetness?
