Mitarashi Dango is a type of dango (rice dumpling) with soy sauce based sweet-salty starchy sauce.

When I opened the bag, it had the ordinary Caramel Corn's sweet scent that is similar to burnt sugar.
Every time I see this, I remember what my mom said, "They look like a bunch of worms."
The surface had subtle shine with brownish color.
It's very light, crispy and airy inside and the outside had find crispiness with sugar coating.
It's much sweeter than I thought, and the saltiness was much less and I didn't taste any fragrant flavor of soy sauce.
However, I think that Mitarashi Dango's aftertaste is sweet rather than salty, thus, it's in a way similar to the traditional sweets.

少しツヤのある、茶色がかった表面。

内側はとても軽くてサクッとし、外側はシュガーコーティングでほんの少しパリッとして
いた。
甘さが強く、しょっぱさはほんのわずかで思っていたよりも甘く、醤油の香ばしさは
感じられなかった。
ただ、みたらしだんごはしょっぱさよりも甘さが口に残る気がするので、それは似ているのかもしれない。
