Kakiyasu Honten Kofukudo "Hiyashi Banana Daifuku"

I saw Kakiyasu Honten Kofukudo has banana shaped daifuku on TV before, and it's one of my must-get items while in Japan.
* Daifuku (大福) is a Japanese confectionery and traditionally, sweet red bean jam is wrapped in sweet mochi.
They said they might not have them ready right after the store opens, so we went there a bit after 1 PM and there're many pieces.
"Hiyashi Banana Daifuku" has 2 flavors; Nama-Choco that is a mix of fresh cream and chocolate, and another one was banana puree.
Those pieces with brown end of the banana have chocolate filling.
* Hiyashi (冷やし) in this case is cold and chilled.
When I opened the plastic case, it had strong banana scent.

Hiyashi Banana Daifuku "Banana Puree"
The mochi on the outside was very soft, and it really looked like a banana.
The center was banana puree, and mashed and sweetened white beans were wrapping the puree.
Soft mochi, white bean paste and banana puree had different sweetness, and it's a cute and tasty sweets.
Hiyashi Banana Daifuku "Nama-Choco"
The tip was brown.
It had Nama-Choco in the center, and as it's made with fresh cream and chocolate, the chocolate was smooth yet rich, and had slightly bitter aftertaste.
Soft mochi and white bean paste were the same as Banana Puree, but if you don't like white bean paste, this Nama-Choco may suit you better.

柿安本店 口福堂がバナナの形をした大福を販売しているとテレビで見て、日本にいる間に
食べたいと思っていたものの1つ。
開店直後に販売していない場合もあると聞いたので、今日は13時過ぎに行くと沢山並べて
あった。
「冷やしバナナ大福」は生チョコ、バナナピューレの2種類があり、見分け方はバナナの
先が茶色いかどうか。
プラスチックの容器を開けると、強いバナナの香りがした。
左； バナナピューレ
右； 生チョコ
冷やしバナナ大福 バナナピューレ
外側のお餅はとても柔らかく、本物のバナナのような見た目だった。
中心にはバナナピューレ、その周りに白あん。
柔らかいお餅と、白あん、バナナピューレの異なる甘さがあり、かわいくて美味しい
お菓子だった。
冷やしバナナ大福 生チョコ
先が茶色くなっていた。
これは中心に生チョコが入っていて、生クリームと混ぜてあるので滑らかで濃厚で、少し
ビターな後味だった。
柔らかいお餅、白あんはバナナピューレと同じで、白あんが苦手な人は生チョコの方が
気にならずに食べられると思う。
