Hissho Ami-Ami Potato From McDonald's
マクドナルドの必勝アミアミポテト

On August 3, 2016, McDonald's Japan launched some new and limited time items to cheer Olympics, and one of them is "Hissho Ami-Ami Potato (必勝アミアミポテト)."
Hissho (必勝) is a phrase used to cheer someone and literal meaning is "surely win," and Ami-Ami in this case means woven.
It's served in a special box with "必勝！(Hissho)" on the top.

There're good looking waffle fries inside.
It's supposed to be seasoned with black pepper and spices, but they looked like nothing was on.
Each fries had reddish color and maybe that's the seasoning?
It's freshly fried so that the outside was crispy and the inside was soft, and the texture was quite good.
However, it didn't have much flavor that I had expected and they're missing something.
We used some ketchup, but BBQ sauce would work well.
I wish they had seasoning powder for this fries.
The best thing about this box was that it's easy to put garbage in and to throw it away.

美味しそうなワッフルフライが沢山入っていた。
ブラックペッパーなどのスパイスが使われているらしいけれど、ほぼ何もかかっていない
見た目だった。
各ポテトには赤い部分があり、これがスパイスなのかも？
揚げたてで外側はカリッとし、内側は柔らかく、食感はとても良かった。
ただ、期待していたようなスパイスの味はなく、物足りない味だった。
ケチャップをつけたのだけれど、BBQソースでも美味しいと思う。
このポテト用にシーズニングパウダーが販売されていたら良かった。
この容器の良いところは、ゴミを入れやすいので捨てるのが簡単というところ。
