Cheesesteak From Pat's King Of Steaks

(Japanese follows. /

When we went to Philadelphia, we stopped by at Pat's King of Steaks and Geno's Steaks.
They're located across the street from each other and 2 most famous cheesesteaks brands I think.
Cheesesteak is a type of sandwich made with thinly sliced meat and melted cheese on a long hoagie bun.

It's a weekend but the waiting line was short, maybe 10 people or less ahead of us.

A lot of photos were hung around the restaurant.

Menu

"How to oder a steak"
1. Specify if you want onions (wit) or without onions (wit-out).
2. Specify Plain, Cheese Whiz, Provolone, American or a Pizza Steak.
3. Have your money ready.
4. Practice those while waiting in line.
If you make a mistake, don't panic, just go to the back of the line and start over.
I don't think #4 and the last lines were joke because they didn't greet but only took orders with the minimum words, without adding anything "unnecessary."

We ordered, "Wit, Cheesesteak, Cheez Whiz" and it's exactly what we said to follow the instruction.
And as soon as we placed our order, we handed a 10-dollar bill.

They're constantly making cooking the beef in the large-window kitchen.

The cheesesteak was placed on a logo-printed paper, and it's not really wrapped when it's given.
On a sandwich bun, there're lots of steaks, sauteed onions and yellow cheese sauce, Cheez Whiz.

The bun was soft and it's not tasted, and the steaks were seasoned lightly but a bit dried and chewy.

The onions were cooked well and they're sweet and soft, and Cheez Whiz added nice saltiness to the meat.
It didn't really have any outstanding characters, and in my opinion, it's an ordinary cheesesteak.

Beverages were to order a next window, not the cheesesteak window.
And condiments and napkins were set on the counter to grab on your own.
