Maple Kakinotane & Peanuts

At the supermarket, I found a unique Kakinotane flavor.
Kakinotane (柿の種) is banana shaped rice crackers covered in soy sauce based spices and often mixed with peanuts.
Usually it's spicy and salty, but this one is "Maple Kakinotane & Peanuts" with Halloween design.
Apparently, the peanuts are from the states.
On the back, there're the same ghosts with 2 Jack O'Lanterns pouring maple syrup of Kakinotane.
"Kids friendly, Non spicy Kakinotane.
Sweet maple flavored Kakinotane and peanuts from the states with fermented butter.
It's addictively tasty."
There're 6 mini pouches in the bag.
There're Japanese maple leaves over red and orange gradation background.
On the back, it repeated the same sentence written on the larger bag, but the ghosts were in black like shadow.
When I opened the pouch, it had very sweet scent and I could tell it wouldn't be spicy at all.
It also had fragrant buttery scent, and if I hadn't seen the contents, I'd have thought it's a sweet snack like cookies and pies.
The crispy texture was the same as classic Kakinotane but it didn't have any spiciness but only sweet flavor of maple and buttery flavor.
It's not mediocre but the flavor was too different from what I'm used to.

スーパーで、変わった柿の種のフレーバーを見つけた。
通常は醤油ベースの辛いタレがかかり、ピーナッツが混ざっているのだけれど、今回
見つけたものは「メープル柿の種&ピーナッツ」と書かれたハロウィン仕様だった。
ピーナッツはアメリカ産と書かれていた。
裏面には表と同じお化けが2体いて、ジャックオーランタンを持ち、柿の種にメープル
シロップをかけていた。
「辛くない！ 柿の種
あま〜いメープル味の柿の種と発酵バターを使ったアメリカ産のピーナッツ入り。
くせになるおいしさです。」と書かれていた。
中には6個の小袋が入っていて、黄〜オレンジのグラデーションの背景にモミジの葉が
描かれていた。
裏面には大袋に書かれていたものと同じ文章が載っていて、2体のお化けの影があった。
袋を開けると甘い香りがし、全く辛くない柿の種だと分かった。
バターの良い香りがし、中身を見ていなかったらクッキーやパイのようなお菓子を想像
したと思う。
サクサクした食感は普通の柿の種と同じだったけれど、辛さが全くなくメープルの甘さと
バターの香りだけだった。
不味くはなかったけれど、私が食べ慣れているものとかなり違っていた。
