Les Délices de l'Érableのメープルデライトクッキー

When we're at Montreal Airport, my husband found some cookies from "Les Délices de l'Érable," whose English name is "Canadian Maple Delights."
There're shops in Montreal, Quebec city and Vancouver.
I've seen this shop before but I didn't know they sold confectioneries other than maple syrup and maple butter.
He got me 3 different kinds, and the first one I tried was "Biscuit Délices" or "Maple Delights Cookie" bearing the company's name.
It's about 10cm (4 inch) in diameter, and a flat cookie with some chocolate chunks.
The cookie was very crispy and light, and the surface was slightly sticky from maple syrup.
Though it's a crispy cookie, maple syrup used in this cookie added some chewiness and the texture was similar to caramel but maple flavor.
Besides chocolate chunks, there're dark beige crunchy bites and I think they're either maple syrup or maple butter because if they're nuts, they'd have mentioned that in the menu.
It's not a regular chocolate chip cookie as it had flavorful maple flavor, and the texture was something I'm used to (Japanese cookies) and not like gooey chunky cookies I find in the states like Insomnia Cookies --- I like both types FYI.

モントリオール空港で、旦那が Les Délices de l'Érable というお店のクッキーを数種類
買ってきてくれた。
英語名は Canadian Maple Delights で、モントリオールやケベック市、バンクーバーに
店舗がある。
空港の店舗は今までにも見たことがあったけれど、メープルシロップやメープルバターの
他にお菓子が売っているとは知らなかった。
旦那が買った3種類のうち、最初に食べたのは「メープルデライトクッキー」という店名を
冠したもの。
直径が10センチほどの平らなクッキーにはチョコレートチャンクが入っていた。
サクサクと軽く、表面にはメープルシロップのベタつきが少しあり、キャラメルに似た
ねちょっとした食感があった。
チョコレートと一緒に濃いベージュのザクザクした粒が入っていて、メープルシロップか
メープルバターが固まったものだと思う。
（ナッツが入っているならメニューに書いてあるはず）
通常のチョコレートチップクッキーとは違ってメープルシロップの良い香りがし、食感は
私が慣れている日本のクッキーのようで、インソムニアクッッキーズのようにアメリカで
よく見る柔らかくグニッとしたものとは異なるものだった --- 私はどちらの食感も好き。
