Another cookie from Les Délices de l'Érable (Canadian Maple Delights) was Sable Sucre, which is Sugar Shortbread Cookie.

I could see really fine sugars on the top and they're slightly brown like maple syrup, and I could see something was spared between the cookie and the sugars.
Maybe they put some maple frosting/butter on the top to keep the sugars stay?

The diameter was smaller but it's evenly rolled and taller than Biscuit Délices / Maple Delights Cookie.

It had fragile texture and had sweet sugar taste, and I also tasted some maple syrup.
Not knowing the detailed recipe, I'm not sure if the sugar was flavored with maple syrup or the spread was maple and that's the reason I tasted maple.

Les Délices de l'Érable （Canadian Maple Delights）で買った別のクッキーは、シュガー
ショートブレッドクッキー。
クッキーの上にはとても細かい砂糖がかかっていて、メープルシロップのように少し茶色
がかっていた。
クッキーと砂糖の間に何か塗ってあり、砂糖が落ちないようにメープルフロスティングか
メープルバターが使われていたのかもしれない。

メープルデライトクッキーに比べて直径は少し小さく、生地は均一に伸ばされ厚みが
あった。
もろい食感で甘く、メープルシロップの風味があった。
上に乗っていた砂糖がメープルシロップで味付けされていたのか、それともクッキーの
表面に塗ってあったものがメープルだったのか詳細が不明のため、メープル味がどこから
来たのかはよく分からない。
