Koeda Milk Cocoa
小枝 ミルクココア味

Koeda is a twig shaped chocolate snack produced by Morinaga.
On October 27, 2014 they launched 6 collaborated items with Morinaga Milk Cocoa brand to celebrate its 95th anniversary.
One of them is "Koeda Milk Cocoa."
On the left top, there's an emblem of 95th anniversary of Morinaga Milk Cocoa.
The line "Cocoa is Morinaga, all in all♪" is the Milk Cocoa's slogan.
On the back, it says the image of this Koeda is Morinaga Milk Cocoa flavor.
The other side had the same patter, too.
It's same Koeda that I'm used to eating with puff pieces in the milk chocolate.
It's very thin, about 5mm tall.
I could smell cocoa when I put my nose close to the chocolate.
First, it tasted like regular milk chocolate Koeda, but gradually fragrant cocoa flavor came out and the after taste was milk cocoa.

小枝は森永製菓が製造販売している枝に似た見た目のチョコレート菓子。
森永ミルクココアブランドの95周年を記念し、2014年10月27日にミルクココアとの
コラボ商品が発売された。
全6種類のうちの1つが「小枝 ミルクココア味」。
箱の左上には95周年と書かれた標章があり、「ココアはやっぱりモリナガ♪」とお馴染みの
フレーズがあった。
箱の裏面には「森永ミルクココアの味わいをイメージした小枝です」と載っていて、その
下にはミルクココアに関する内容が書かれていた。
「欧米では昔から飲まれていた栄養豊富なココアを日本に広めたい。そんな願いを
込めて、1919年、森永製菓が日本初の一貫ライン製造による国産ミルクココアを発売
しました。」とあった。
箱を開けると、緑色の小袋が並んでいた。
小袋の模様は地面に立つシカと、花や葉っぱが舞っているものだった。
裏面も同様のデザインだった。
小枝は食べ慣れている物と同じ見た目で、パフ入りのミルクチョコレートだった。
厚みは約5ミリと薄い。
小枝に鼻を近づけるとココアの香りが分かった。
最初は普通の小枝と同じミルクチョコレートの味だったけれど、徐々に香りの良い
ココアの味が現れ、後味は確かにミルクココアだった。
