Today, I tried a seasonal flavor "Caramel & Pudding Frappuccino" From Starbucks in Japan launched on September 1, 2014.
As Frappuccino is high in calories and I always get a "Short" that is the smallest size and not shown in the menu.

When it's served, I could see the layers of pudding on the bottom, caramel sauce, coffee Frappuccino and whipped cream on the top.

And before putting the lid, they sprinkled some powder over it.

Here, they didn't ask my name as there's no one waiting behind me, so they put a heart and a smile face.

When I tasted the whipped cream only, I tasted some burnt and fragrant sweet ingredient.
I realized that the powder they put was caramelized sugar.

They gave me a thicker straw which was similar to the one used for bubble tea.

Coffee Frappuccino didn't have much bitter taste and I felt like the caramel sauce was bitter.
Smooth and jiggly puddings were large pieces, and every swallow had flabby pudding with icy sorbet Frappuccino, and it's very tasty.

It's not too sweet but not too bitter, and I really liked this Frappuccino.
And another remarkable point it that it's not all frozen drink but with pudding, so that I didn't feel cold while or after drinking this.


日本のスターバックスで2014年9月1日から期間限定発売されている新商品「キャラメル&
プディング フラペチーノ」を頼んでみた。
フラペチーノは高カロリーなので、いつも「ショート」（メニューに載っていない、1番
小さいサイズ）で注文する。

オールドファッション グリルドチーズ
ティーバナ「ピーチグリーンティー レモネード」

下からプリン、キャラメルソース、コーヒーフラペチーノ、ホイップクリームの層になって
いた。
蓋をする直前に、ホイップの上にパウダーをかけていた。

後ろに誰も並んでいなかったので注文時には名前を聞かれず、カップにはハートと笑顔が
書かれていた。

生クリームだけを食べてみると、焦げたような香ばしさがあった。
最後に振りかけられていたパウダーがキャラメリゼされた砂糖だと分かった。

タピオカドリンク用と同じほどの太さがあるストローが渡された。
コーヒー風味のフラペチーノはそれほど苦みはなく、キャラメルソースの方が苦みが
強かった気がする。
滑らかでぷるぷるした食感のプリンは大きな欠片で入っていて、ストローで吸うたびに
シャリシャリしたフラペチーノ、弾力のあるプリンが合わさり美味しかった。

甘すぎず、苦すぎず、かなり好きな味。
また、全部がシャーベットではなく底にプリンが入っているので、飲んでいる間も飲んだ
後も寒く感じならなかった。
