Toyama Kansui Park Is Said The Most Beautiful Starbucks In The World (Chunky Cookie Frappuccino)
世界一綺麗なスターバックスと言われている富山環水公園店（チャンキー クッキー プラペチーノ）

I didn't know but a friend of mine said that there's the world's best Starbucks in Toyama prefecture and it's located in Toyama Kansui Park.
According to some articles, they say either "World's best" or "best in Japan" regarding the location and the scenery, winning "Best Store Design Award" in 2008.
At least, this branch is the first Starbucks in public parks in Japan and there're only 2 others; Oohori Park in Fukuoka and Ueno Onshi Park in Tokyo.
Toyama Kansui Park is a 9.7 hectare public park with maintained canal.
At night, they do lighting-ups and the colors are different from seasons.
I don't drink coffee so whenever I go to Starbucks, I always get black tea without sugar or cream, or short Frappuccino as it's very high in calories.
We got there around 9:30 AM, but the parking lot in front of Starbucks was full already, and another parking lot next to was very busy so we parked a coin parking nearby without spending any time to look for a spot to park.
The store has 3 glass walls so that the store gets a lot of sun light.
Wooden ceiling was high with some small lights.
I was gonna get one of the Banana Frappuccino, but they're sold out so that they pushed the launch date ahead of Chunky Cookie Frapppuccino, which was planned to sell from May 12, 2014.
So we ordered this Chunky Cookie Frappuccino.
Like always I do, I said, "I'd like the smallest cup of this." --- because I get cold while drinking besides it's very high fatty....
And as usual, a cashier made sure if it's "Short Size," then our order was set.
While paying, I asked the cashier if they have any Toyama limited tumbler, then she said not, but added, "I can write 'Toyama' on the cup instead."
I paused a little bit but said yes please in the end.
Like the cashier said, she wrote "Toyama" and "Thanks" with smilies.
Chunky Cookie Frappuccino contains a whole cookie with chocolate chunks and almonds and the cookie was produced for this drink to go well together.
The cookie provides chunky and crunchy texture.
The straw was thicker than other drinks.
My mom had some visible chocolate chunks in her drink so it made sense to use this straw.

福岡大濠公園と東京都の上野恩賜公園。
富山環水公園は運河を整備した公園で、9.7ヘクタールある。
夜になると季節ごとのライトアップが楽しめるようになっている。
普段コーヒーを全く飲まないので、スターバックスに行くといつも砂糖・ミルク無しの紅茶か
フラペチーノのショートサイズを注文する（高カロリーなので）。
9：30頃にお店に着くとスターバックスの駐車場は満車で、その隣の駐車場もほぼ満車だった。
近くのコインパーキングには止めるスペースが沢山あり、簡単に駐車することができた。
店舗の3面はガラス張りで、太陽光が入ってくる。
高い天井は木張りになっていて、小さなライトが埋め込まれていた。
バナナ フラペチーノのどちらかを頼もうと思っていたけれど、販売終了と言われた。
その代わり、2014年5月12日発売予定だった「チャンキー クッキー フラペチーノ」を前倒しして
販売していた。
高カロリー、飲んでいる間に寒くなってくので、いつも通り「1番小さいのをください」と伝え、
これまたいつも通りの「ショートサイズでよろしいですか？」と確認があった後、お会計。
その時に「富山と書かれたタンブラーはありますか？」と聞いたら無いとのことで、その代わりに
お姉さんが「カップに富山と書きましょうか？」と聞いたので、少し迷ってから「お願いします」と
伝えた。
カップにはお姉さんが言った通り「Toyama」と「Thanks」とそれぞれ書かれ、スマイルマークも
付いていた。
チャンキー クッキー フラペチーノは、ドリンクに合うように開発されたチョコレートチャンクと
アーモンド入りクッキーを丸ごと1枚使っていて、ザクザクとした食感が楽しめるものらしい。
ストローが太いように感じた。
母のドリンクにはチョコレートチャンクがゴロゴロ入っていたので、詰まるのを防ぐために
太いストローを使っているのだと思う。
ショートサイズを頼んだにも関わらず、やはり飲んでいる間に寒くなってきた。
テラス席からは展望台と、公園のシンボルである天門橋が綺麗に見えた。
スターバックスのサイトを読むと、この店舗ではどの席からでも天門橋が見られると書いてあった。
また、天門橋からは立山が見えた。
このスターバックスが世界で1番美しい店舗かどうかは分からないけれど、景色はとても良く、
桜の季節だったらもっと綺麗だろうなぁと思った。
今日は少し風が強く肌寒かったけれど、広い公園には犬の散歩をしている人やボートに乗って
運河ツアーを楽しんでいる人がいた。

The 2 buildings on the right side are observatories and in between, there's Ten'monkyou Bridge, a symbol of this park.
According to Starbucks webpage, they say you can see the bridge from any seat in this Starbucks.

I'm not sure if this is the world's most beautiful Starbucks or not, but the scenery was very pretty and I bet it had been great if there're still cherry blossoms.
It's a little bit windy and chilly today, but the park is vast and we saw people walking with their dogs and enjoying a boat tour.
Chunky Cookie Frappuccino is only available till August 31 (while supplies last).
