Afternoon tea at Nocochi (real name is written in all small letters) didn't come with any sweet, so my husband bought for me a box of cookies to try their pastries.

Nocochi is a Middle Eastern and Persian cafe, seems like, and the pastries are all homemade with traditional spices.

This is one of the assortments they had.
The others had something I've tried at Israeli restaurants or while I was in Dubai, and this box had something I'd not eaten.

I took out each item and placed on a plate.

This one was so fragile as it's made with powder which tasted like soy beans and it's just pressed and shaped.
It's got cardamon spice flavor.
When I checked the ingredients list, it didn't say soy beans so I think it's made with chickpeas.

This had the same texture with the cookie above, but this was chocolate flavor.

This one was apricot jam over crunchy almond cookie.

Chocolate over chocolate cookie topped with grated pistachio.

Sweet cookie covered with white chocolate topped with grated pistachio.

Skinny cut almond covered with caramelized sugar topped with pistachio.

This cookie had shiny surface and I think they put egg wash before baking.
Topped with grated pistachio and almond.

Walnuts covered with slightly sweetened baked meringue.
This one also was topped with pistachio.

This was also fragile one like the first 2 cookies and this one tasted like coffee.
And topped with pistachio powder.

Most of the cookies were using pistachio and the color brightened the confectioneries.
Except those spiced, chocolate or jam topping cookies, the dough itself tasted very similar one another.

Nocochi のアフタヌーンティー（店名は全て小文字）はスイーツが付いていなかったので、
スイーツを試すためにクッキーの詰め合わせを旦那が買ってくれた。

Nocochi は中東・ペルシャ料理のカフェ（であるらしく）、スイーツは伝統的なスパイスを混ぜて
手作りしている。

詰め合わせの種類はいくつかあったけれど、これまでにイスラエル料理店やドバイ旅行で
食べたことがない種類が入っていたものを選んだ。

白いクッキー
粉が押し固められた状態で非常にもろく、黄な粉のような味がした。
カルダモンの香りがした。
原材料には大豆と書いていなかったので、ひよこ豆が使われているのだと思う。

茶色いクッキー
最初のクッキーと同じ食感だったけれど、これはチョコレート味。

アプリコット
ザクザクした食感のアーモンドクッキーとアプリコットジャム。

チョコレートクッキー
チョコレート味の生地にチョコレートがかかったクッキー。砕いたピスタチオ乗せ。

ホワイトチョコレートクッキー
甘いクッキーの上にホワイトチョコレートがかかっている。砕いたピスタチオが乗っている。

アーモンド
キャラメライズされた砂糖と細長く切ったアーモンドが混ぜられたもの。砕いたピスタチオ乗せ。

四角いクッキー
表面に艶があったので、卵液をつけてから焼いたのだと思う。
砕いたピスタチオ、アーモンドが乗っていた。

クルミ
甘さが控え目の焼きメレンゲに包まれたクルミ。
これにもピスタチオが乗っていた。

ひし形のクッキー
最初の2つのクッキーと同じくホロホロとした食感で、コーヒーのような味だった。
ピスタチオの粉がかかっていた。

ほとんどのクッキーにピスタチオが使われていたので、見た目が少し鮮やかだった。
スパイス入りやチョコレート、ジャムの乗った種類を除き、生地自体の味はどれも似ているように
感じた。
