This Doesn't Deserve The Name "Yummy Maple Leaf Gummies"

「美味しいメープルリーフ グミ」という商品名が相応しくないグミ

While waiting a flight at Montreal Pierre-Elliott Trudeau Airport, I found a maple leaf shaped gummies.

I looked so "Canada" that we bought and tried "Yummy Maple Leaf Gummies."

On the back side, the name is written in French "Delicieuses Feuilles D'erable Gelifiees."

This is the gummy, which didn't have maple flavor.

But we knew it wouldn't taste like maple as the ingredients list didn't list up maple syrup.

It's got red and orange color like fall season.

When I tried the gummy, weird flavor spread in my mouth with tough chewiness.

It was citrus flavor like lemon or orange, but not tasty at all.

I think I had only one and I was done, but my husband tried several times to see if he'd like it, but every time he tried, he didn't enjoy the flavor.

モントリオールのピエール-エリオット・トルドー空港で飛行機を待っている時、

メープルリーフ（楓の葉）の形をしたグミを発見。

とてもカナダっぽいこのお菓子は "Yummy Maple Leaf Gummies" 

「美味しいメープルリーフグミ」という商品。

裏面はフランス語の商品名が記載されている。

原材料にメープルシロップが入っていなかったので予想はしていたけれど、

グミはメープルシロップの香りはしない。

グミは赤と橙色が混ざっていて、紅葉シーズンの色をしている。

食べてみたところ、固い食感と共に変な味が口に広がった。

レモンやオレンジのような柑橘類の味だったけれど、とりあえず美味しくない。

私は1個で十分だと思って食べるのを止め、旦那は美味しく感じるか確認するために

数個食べていたけれど、毎回「不味い」と言っていた。
