Fujiya pre-released Country Ma'am Sakura Mochi Flavor on March 14, 2017 at 7-Eleven.

The package was pale pink and had some classic patterns and gold trim and confetti.
On the right side, it says, "Domestic sakura flower extract is used."

Domestic sakura extract is used to recreate Japanese confectionery, "Sakura Mochi," and you can taste spring with this Country Ma'am.

Country Ma'am tastes quite good when it's warm, and there're directions how to heat them by microwave and toaster.
Cookies need to be taken out of the individual pouches.

There're 4 pouches.

The individual pouch had the same pattern on the left side of the outer bag.

When I opened the pouch, it had sweet scent like fruits and I couldn't picture of Sakura Mochi.

The center was moister and chewier than regular Country Ma'am, and I think the texture was to recreate Mochi.
However, other than the pale sakura color, there's no aspect of Sakura Mochi because there're no saltiness or bitterness of the salted leaf of Sakura Mochi, and I didn't think the name "Sakura Mochi Flavor" wasn't matching to this cookies.
I with they used azuki (sweet red bean jam) at least.
There's no nutritious information on the package.

2017年3月14日に、不二家からセブンイレブン先行でカントリーマアム 桜もち風味が発売

された。

淡いピンクのパッケージは古風な柄も使われていて、金色の縁と紙吹雪が散っていた。
右側には「国産桜花エキスしよう」と書いてあった。

国産桜花エキスを使用し、和スイーツ「桜もち」をイメージした、春を感じるカントリー
マアムです。

カントリーマアムは温めても美味しく、電子レンジとトースターでの温め方が記載されて
いた。
クッキーは個包装された袋から取り出してから加熱する。

4個入り。

個包装は外袋の左側に使われていた柄だった。

裏

袋を開けるとフルーツのような甘い香りがし、桜もちがすぐに想像できなかった。

底

横

中心がいつもよりしっとり、ねっとりした感じでお餅っぽさを表現していたのかも

しれない。

ただ、淡い桜色を除いて桜もちの塩気や葉の苦味は感じられず、「桜もち風味」という

ネーミングに合っていなかった。
少なくとも小豆が使われていたら良かった。

カロリーはどこにも表示されていなかった。
