Kibun Foods Inc. launched "Gudetama Tamago Kamaboko" on March 20, 2017 in Tohoku ~ Chubu area only.
I asked my mom to see if any supermarkets had it, but until last week, we didn't see any except one supermarket.

Gudetama is an egg motif Sanrio character and Gudetama is a reluctant, lazy, and tired creature who isn't happy-go-lucky, cheerful, or vital.
Tamago is egg and Kamaboko is a pureed fish combined with additives and steamed, often translated as fish cake.

The package was filled with Gudetama.

Gudetama says, "Don't put me in a bento box..."

There're 4 pieces and 2 poses each.

This Kamaboko inspired by Tamagoyaki (rolled egg omelette, often seasoned with salt, soy sauce, sugar and mirin) so that it's lightly sweet.
If you put these into your bento box, the box will become a dull Gudetama world!?

Individually packed 4 Gudetama.

The pouch had egg white on the back to make the Kamaboko look like real Gudetama.

Gudetama is holding the legs close and tight to the belly.

It's smooth, lightly sweetened and had eggy flavor, but as it's a fish cake, the aftertaste was normal fish flavor.

Egg flavored Kamaboko was interesting and I ate these as snack.
The faces weren't as clear or cute as the actual Gudetama, but it's still noticeable that it's Gudetama.

紀文から2017年3月20日に東北〜中部地方限定で「ぐでたま たまごかまぼこ」が発売

された。
母にスーパーで見たことがないか聞いていたけれど、先週にとあるスーパーで見るまでは
全く見当たらなかった。

ぐでたまはたまごをモチーフにしたサンリオキャラクターで、やる気がなく、ぐったり
した、やる気や元気を与えるものではない。

ぐでたまが沢山描かれたパッケージ。

「お弁当とかかんべんして。。。」

ポーズは2種類で、4個入っている。

玉子焼きをイメージした、ほんのり甘いかまぼこ。
そのままお弁当に入れれば、あなたのお弁当がゆる〜いぐでたまワールドに！？

個包装されたかまぼこが4個。

パッケージは白身がデザインされていて、ぐでたまらしさが出ていた。

膝を抱えているぐでたま。

滑らかで少し甘さがあり、卵の味もしたけれど、かまぼこなので後味は普通の魚味。

もう1つのポーズ。

両手を上げているぐでたま。

たまご味のかまぼこはユニークで、おやつに丁度良かった。
顔は本物のぐでたまよりも薄く、かわいさもそれほど無かったものの、ぐでたまだと
分かるデザインだった。
