I had a lunch with a friend of mine and we went to La Bonbonniere, which is famous for pancakes and french toast.
It's our first time to visit and it's a small diner that closes at 1 PM, and we went there 11:30 AM so that we could avid the lunch time craziness.
It's blurry, but there're 8 tables with 4 chairs and 6 counter seats or so, besides outside seatings.
There's one griddle in the kitchen.

Our "Famous" Real Challah French Toast
The challah french toast was very fluffy and it's more than 2cm (0.78 inch) thick.
I forgot to take a photo of the inside, but the bread had absorbed egg wash well and all the slices were flabby inside and even the crust was soft, and the surface was fragrant.
It's one of the thickest challah french toasts that I've had.
Banana Pancakes with Bacon
Bacon strips were crispy and crunchy.
There're 3 stacks of banana pancakes, and the batter had mashed bananas and it's soft, moist, and fruity.
The pancake was simple and flat, which I like, and it tasted good even without any syrup.
Both were less than 10 dollars before tax, large, and tasty.
Since it's a little space, it's easy to get attention to order or to get a check.

友人とお昼と飯を食べに、パンケーキやフレンチトーストが有名なラ・ボンボニエールに
行った。
お互い初めて行くこの小さなダイナーは13時に閉店するため、ランチタイムに混雑する
前の11時半に入った。
かなりブレてしまったけれど、店内には4脚の椅子があるテーブルが8卓、カウンターが
6席ほどあり、店先にもテーブルがあった。
キッチンには鉄板が1つあった。

アワー「フェイマス」 リアル ハラー フレンチトースト
ハラーフレンチトーストはとてもふわふわで、2センチ以上の厚みがあった。
切ったところの写真を撮り忘れたけれど、生地にしっかりとアパレイユが染み込んでいて
中はぷるっとして耳まで柔らかく、表面は香ばしかった。
これまでに食べたハラー フレンチトーストの中で、最も分厚いものの1つだった。
バナナパンケーキとベーコン
ベーコンはカリカリに焼かれていた。
バナナパンケーキが3枚重ねてあり、生地に潰したバナナが入っていて柔らかく、しっとり
してフルーティーだった。
パンケーキは私の好きなシンプルで平たいタイプで、シロップを付けなくてもこのままで
美味しかった。
どちらも税抜き10ドル以下でお手ごろ価格で、量が多くて美味しく、とても良かった。
小ぢんまりとしたお店なので注文時や会計時に注意を引きやすかった。
