Bancha Milk Tea Shaved Ice From Gion Tokuya Harajuku

When we went to Reissue, we're told that it'd be about an hour to be able to sit so that we went to Gion Tokuya Harajuku to kill time.
Luckily there's no line and we could sit immediately.
There's a limited time menu called Bancha Milk Tea Shaved Ice, and my husband ordered this while I got Isobe Yaki.
The shaved ice was taller than the diameter of a volleyball, and it's topped with nuts and colorful chocolate sprinkles.
It's a syrup made from boiled Bancha to bring out the flavor, and they added milk and sugar to make it sweet.
Bancha (番茶) is a type of green tea.
The mountain of shaved ice consisted of severalfold papers because the ice wasn't roughly grounded by more like sliced.
3 brown dumplings were served, too, and they're sweet and had bouncy-chewy texture that was similar to Shiratama Dango dumplings.
Pouring Bancha Milk Tea.
The shaved ice was fine and fluffy, and they melted in my mouth gradually.
The crushed nuts were lightly crunchy and had roasted flavor and chocolate sprinkles were crispy.
Bancha milk tea was lightly sweetened so that the whole shaved ice wasn't as sweet as ordinary shaved ice with sugary syrup.
Milk tea made with Bancha was more fragrant, slightly more bitter, and the aftertaste was refreshing although milk and sugar were added, and this syrup would be enjoyed by anyone.

リシューに行った時に1時間待ちだと言われたので、ぎおん徳屋 原宿で時間を潰すことに
した。
運良く行列はなく、すぐに座ることができた。
お番茶のミルクティーかき氷が期間限定メニューであったので、旦那はこのかき氷を頼み
私はいそべ焼きにした。
バレーボールの直径よりも背が高いかき氷で、ナッツと色鮮やかなチョコスプレーが
かかっていた。
京番茶をじっくり煮出したミルクティーのシロップ。
かき氷の山は幾重にも重なった紙のようで、氷は荒く削られたものではなく、スライス
してあるようだった。
茶色いお団子が付いていて、甘くもちもちした強い弾力があり白玉にそっくりだった。
お番茶のミルクティーをかけた。
氷は繊細でふんわりとし、口に入れるとじゅわっと溶けていった。
砕いたナッツは軽くカリッとし香ばしく、チョコスプレーはパリッとしていた。
番茶を使ったミルクティーは甘さが控えめで、とても甘いシロップがかかった通常のかき
氷とは違っていた。
紅茶に比べて番茶のミルクティーは香ばしさがあり、少し苦さもあり、ミルクや砂糖が
加えてあっても後味がすっきりとしていた。
このシロップはとても食べやすい味になっていた。
