I happened to learn that Krispy Kreme has today only special green donuts for the Irish St. Patrick's Day, March 17th.
St. Patrick was the saint patron of Ireland and it's the day of his death.

At the shop, I saw Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced and Sugar were green.

There're also Easter donuts.

I wasn't that hungry so that I got one Original Glaze.

The size was the same as ordinary Original Glazed, but just so green.

The glaze was half-transparent.

The inside was bright green.

The flavor was the same as original, and it's a soft, moist, and airy donut with light and crispy sugar glaze.
I like firm and dried (in a good way) old fashioned donuts, but Krispy Kreme's Original Glazed is a different and enjoyable donut.

するとたまたま知った。

セントパトリックスデーとは、アイルランドの守護聖人で、この日は彼の命日。

お店には緑色のオリジナル グレーズ、チョコレートアイシング、シュガーがあった。

また、イースター向けのドーナツもあった。

あまりお腹が空いていなかったで、オリジナル グレーズを1個買った。

大きさは通常のものと変わらなかったけれど、全体が緑色だった。

グレーズは半透明なものだった。

内側は明るい緑色だった。

オリジナルと味は同じで、柔らかくしっとりし、ふんわりした食感のドーナツにシャリ
シャリした軽いグレーズがかかっていた。
私は硬くて良い意味でパサパサしたオールドファッション ドーナツが好きだけれど、
クリスピー・クリームのドーナツも違った食感で美味しいと思う。
