Lotte Rich Cream Cheese Ice (Kiri)

I saw Lotte launched limited quantity of ice cream at Lawson only made with Kiri cream cheese on February 16, 2016.
I made sure to buy it before it's all gone because when it's launched in November 2015, about 500,000 pieces were shipped in 2 weeks.

The first ingredient was cheese, which is 100% from France, followed by sugar, dextrin, skim milk, butter, whey powder, lemon juice, food mainly made from milk, emulsifier, stabilizer and pH conditioning agent.
I have no idea what "food mainly made from milk" though...
In the box, there's a cup of ice cream.
The silver lid made me think of actual cream cheese as it's wrapped in a similar colored material.
In the center of the ice cream, I saw some patterns and it looked like the content was squeezed in from a piping bag.
It had light cream cheese scent, but not that strong and it just looked like a milk flavored ice cream.
I scooped this much with a tea spoon, but to my surprise, it had rich and creamy flavor of cream cheese.
First, it's just cold but gradually the sweet and sour flavor came out and it lasted for a while.
The flavor was much stronger than I had thought, and I'm glad they launched this in winter/early spring when it's still cold, which I mean it's too rich for humid summer in Japan.
And though I first thought it's too small, I think 120ml was a great size to appreciate the cream cheese flavor.

したと知った。
2015年11月に発売された時は2週間で約50万個が出荷されたようなので、売り切れる前に
買った。
最初の原材料は100％フランス産のチーズ、砂糖、デキストリン、脱脂粉乳、バター、
ホエイパウダー、レモン果汁、乳等を主要原料とする食品、乳化剤、安定剤、pH調整材と
書かれていた。
「乳等を主要原料とする食品」が何なのかは全く分からない。
箱の中にはアイスが1カップ入っていて、蓋は銀色だったので、クリームチーズが包まれて
いる銀色の素材が頭に浮かんだ。
アイスの中心には、パイピングバッグから搾り出したような模様が付いていた。
軽くクリームチーズの香りがした程度だったので、ミルク味のアイスクリームに見えた。
小さなスプーンで少量食べただけでも、かなりしっかりとしたクリーミーなクリーム
チーズの味がした。
最初は冷たいだけだったけれど、徐々に甘く酸味が出てきて、しばらくその味が続いた。
思っていたよりもずっと味が濃く、冬・春のまだ寒い時期に出たので良かった。
蒸し暑い日本の夏だと、濃厚すぎたと思う。
最初は小さいかなと思ったけれど、クリームチーズの味を楽しむのには丁度良い大きさ
だったと思う。
