Dhalsim's Curry
ダルシムさん家のカレー

Late in August, 2014, Geek Life launched "Dhalsim's Curry,"
Geek Life is an original brand of Nauts Inc., a distributor and manufacturer of toys, figures, and etc.
Dahlsim is, of course, a famous character form Street Fighter II.
Japanese name of the product is "ダルシムさん家のカレー (Darushimu san chi no karee)."
Dhalsim in the center blows a fire, and it says, "Automatically you'll have Yoga Flame once you eat!"
And 2 flame at the right bottom, it says, "ヨガ辛! (Yoga Spicy!)" and "ヨガうま! (Yoga Tasty!)"
On the left bottom, there's a habanero drawn with blocks like original Super Mario.
And it says, "ハバネロ入り! (with Habanero!)"
On the top.
Left side of the product name, Dhalsim's Curry, there's Dhalsim.
On the right, Dhalsim is blowing a fire.

The curry made by his beloved wife, Sari, heals worn out Dhalsim.
It's a chicken based Indian curry with affectionate amount of fiery hot spices.
Fully supervised by Capcom, we recreated Dhalsim's house curry, a home of Indian curry!
Once you eat it, you'll automatically have <Yoga Flame!> with the Yoga Spiciness! and Yoga Tasty! flavor of this "Dhalsim's Curry."

In the box, there's a white pouch.
I could heat the curry either to pour into a microwavable bowl and heat in a microwave or to put the pouch in a pan with boiling water.
I poured into a microwave-safe bowl and covered with a plastic, and heated for 1 minutes and a half.
In the soupy curry, there're small pieces of chickens.
It had spicy curry scent, but it's not that so strong which would make me sneeze or choke.
The watery curry didn't have much sweetness but only spiciness including lots of black pepper, and to me, it's different from Indian curry and similar to Japanese curry, especial Hokkaido soup curry.
However, it's not fiery spicy as I'd expected, and after 5 spoonfuls of curry, I got used to the heat.
If you drink something with this curry, the drink makes you feel the heat more and more, so I recommend you eat the curry without any beverage.
(I didn't drink anything.)
It didn't make me blow a fire like "Yoga Flame!" and I was a bit disappointed, yet it made me wanna play Street Fighter II again.

ギークライフはフィギュアや玩具などを製造販売する株式会社ノーツのオリジナル
ブランドで、ダルシムはストリートファイターIIのキャラクター。
箱の中心で火を吹いているダルシムのそばに「食べたら思わずヨガフレイム！」と書いて
あった。
右下の2つの炎には「ヨガ辛！」「ヨガうま！」と書いてあった。
左下には初代のスーパーマリオのようにブロックで描かれたハバネロが載っていて、
「ハバネロ入り！」と書いてあった。
箱の上部、両側、底に「ダルシムさん家のカレー」と書いてあり、その両側に様々な
ポーズのダルシムとストリートファイターIIのロゴが載っていた。
裏面には以下の文章が載っていた。
「これでようやくいえにかえれるな・・・」
戦いに疲れたダルシムを癒やしてくれるのは愛妻サリーが作るカレー。チキンベースの
インドカレーに愛情たっぷりの激辛香辛料。
カレーの本場インドのダルシム家の味をカプコン完全監修のもと再現しました！
食べたら思わず＜ヨガフレイム！＞のヨガ辛！ヨガうま！な「ダルシムさん家のカレー」
是非ご賞味あれ！
中にはパウチが入っていて、耐熱容器に中身を移して電子レンジで加熱するか、袋のまま
熱湯に5分ほど浸すと書いてあったので、ボウルに移して電子レンジで1分半温めた。
しゃばしゃばしたカレーで、小さくカットされた鶏肉が入っていた。
辛い香りはしたけれど、くしゃみが出たり、むせるほど強い香りではなかった。
サラサラで水っぽいカレーに甘さはほとんどなく、辛さと黒胡椒の味がしただけで、
インドカレーとは異なり日本のカレー（特に北海道のスープカレー）に近い印象だった。
ただ、期待していたほど激辛ではなく、5口ほど食べた後は辛さに慣れてしまった。
飲み物を飲むと辛さが増すと思うので、飲み物なしで食べるのが良いかと思う。
（私は飲み物なしで食べた）
「ヨガフレイム！」と火を吹くほど辛いカレーではなく、少しがっかりしたけれど、
久々にストリートファイターIIで遊びたくなった。
