A friend of mine gave me a gift, and it's "Croissant Rusk" from Tokyo Rusk.

Weird "Engrish" and wrong spelling...

"La vie avec le croissant rusk." --- The life with croissant rusk.

On the top, there're pull-tabs shaped in a gold croissant.

There's a plastic bag inside full of croissant rusks.
I could tell they're cut croissants though I grabbed a piece.

I could see the layers though it's covered with sugars.

The other side; I could see the layers well.

It's a very crispy and buttery rusk, and not only crispy but I could feel the fragile texture comes from layered croissant dough.

To compare with regular rusks made with sliced baguette, this rusk had lighter crispiness.

友達から、東京ラスクが製造販売している「クロワッサンラスク」をもらった。

青い綺麗な箱だったのだけれど、意味不明な英文が載っていた。

別の面にはフランス語で「クロワッサンラスクとの人生」と書いてあった。

箱の上部には、金色のクロワッサンの形をしたプルタブがあった。

中にはクロワッサンラスクが入った袋が入っていた。

実物を取り出さなくても、カットされたクロワッサンが使われていると分かった。

砂糖が沢山かかっていたけれど、クロワッサンの層が見えた。

反対側を見ても、層がしっかりと見えた。

とてもサクサクしていてバターの香りが良く、クロワッサンのパラパラとした層の食感もあった。

パンをスライスした通常のラスクに比べて、軽いサクサク感が強かった。
