We're randomly looking for Puerto Rico only items and found a new item sold at Applebee's.
The item is "Churros" and served with dulce de leche and Nutella.
I couldn't find any press release but on the Facebook page, the product was introduced on December 13, 2014.

When a waitress provided us menus, we didn't see this item, so when she came back to our table to take our order, I asked her if they have churros and she said yes and it's on a different menu.

She's surprised to hear that on continental United States' HP, this items isn't available. 

As she suggested ice cream with them, so we asked for a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Churros was served in a tall glass.

Dulce de leche, Nutella and vanilla ice cream.

Churros were covered with sugar and cinnamon.

Outside crispy but inside was a bit mushy.

Nutella was served warm.

Nutella had sweet and rich hazelnut flavor and smoother texture as it's warm, and it's very easy to put on the skinny churro.

Dulce de leche was warm, too.

It's smooth and sugary caramel paste.

Vanilla ice cream.

Cold ice cream with warm churro was a great combination.

Then, I made an ultimate churro with all the 3 toppings.

I put thick layers of Nutella and dulce de leche besides lots of ice cream, the churro became very heavy and fulfilling.

Churros: 5.99 dollars

Ice Cream: 1.49 dollars

プエルトリコ限定の商品を探していた時、アップルビーズの新しい商品を見つけた。

この「チュロス」は、ドゥルセ デ レチェとヌッテラと一緒に出される。

* ドゥルセ デ レチェはラテンアメリカの伝統的な糖菓、キャラメル。

プレスリリースは見つからなかったけれど、Facebookのページでは2014年12月13日に

紹介されていた。

ウェイトレスがメニューを持って来たきたのだけれど、そのメニューにはチュロスが

載っていなかったので、注文を聞きに来た時にチュロスがあるか聞いてみた。

違うメニューに掲載しているようで、チュロスを提供しているとのことだった。

アメリカ本土のHPには載っていない（＝販売無し）と伝えると、かなり驚いていた。

バニラアイスを付けると美味しいと言っていたので、1スクープつけてもらった。

チュロスは背の高いグラスに入っていた。

ドゥルセ デ レチェ、バニラアイス、ヌッテラがそれぞれカップに入っていた。

チュロスには砂糖とシナモンがかかっていて、外側はサクッとしていたけれど、内側は

少しベタついていた。

ヌッテラは温かい状態で出され、甘く濃厚なヘーゼルナッツの香りがした。

温かかったので滑らになっていて、細いチュロスにもつけやすかった。

ドゥルセ デ レチェも温かく、滑らかで甘いキャラメルペーストだった。

バニラアイスは冷たく、温かいチュロスとの組み合わせが美味しかった。

せっかくなので、全3種類のトッピングをチュロスに付けて食べた。

ヌッテラもドゥルセ デ レチェも分厚く塗り、アイスクリームもたっぷりつけたので、

かなり甘く食べ応えのあるチュロスになった。
