Yamazaki Nabisco launched initial sales of "Ritz Cheese Sand Camembert & Pepper" on November 3, 2014 at conbini, and general sales started on the 10th.
* Sand means sandwich in Japanese.

It had 2 ways to display; one was longways and another side was sideways.

One side had a description of the product.
"Cheese cream with black pepper from Malabar, India that has characteristic refreshing scent and spiciness.
Please enjoy delicious camembert cheese with tangy heat and richness."

Also, this cracker consists of 13% of cheese (converted to fresh ingredients) and 75% of the cheese is camembert cheese.

There's one silver bag in the box.
And as soon as I opened the bag, quite strong goat cheese-ish flavor came out.

I thought they're using regular Ritz but somehow this cracker seemed less shiny the regular ones I've had.

From the side, a layer of the cheese cream was shallow, but it had very strong cheese scent.

There're a lot of fine black peppers in the filling.

The crackers were crispy but those parts touching the cheese were slightly soft.
The cheese cream had salty camembert flavor and black peppers were outstanding by the amount of pepper used.
I'm not sure what was causing the odor in the filling as I don't usually think camembert stinks.

It may go well with wine and beer, but it didn't go well with green tea or soda.

2014年11月3日、ヤマザキ・ナビスコがコンビニ先行で「リッツ チーズサンド カマン
ベール&ペッパー」を発売した。
（一般販売は11月10日）

縦置き、横置きで陳列できるよう2種類の面があり、別の面には商品説明が載っていた。

「爽やかな香りと辛味が特徴のインド・マラバルさんブラックペッp−あを練り込んだ

チーズクリームをサンド。ピリッとした辛味とコクのあるカマンベールのおいしさを

お楽しみください。」
また、生換算のチーズ13%中にカマンベールチーズが75％使用されているらしい。

箱の中には銀色の袋が1つ入っていて、開封するとすぐにヤギ乳チーズのような強い香りが

広がった。

通常のリッツを使っていると思ったけれど、普段食べ慣れているリッツよりも艶が少ない

ように感じた。

横から見るとチーズクリームの層は薄いものの、かなり香りが強い。

フィリングの中には細かい黒胡椒が沢山入っていた。

クラッカーはサクサクしていたけれど、チーズに触れている部分は少し柔らかかった。

チーズクリームは塩気のあるカマンベール味で、大量に入っていた黒胡椒の味もはっきり

していた。

普段カマンベールを臭いと思わないので、なぜこのチーズが強烈な匂いを放っていたかは

分からない。

ワインやビールなどとは相性が良さそうだけれど、緑茶やソーダには合わなかった。
