Holiday Wreath Donut From Dunkin' Donuts

After mailing holiday cards, I was gonna go get some McDonald's.
However, the branch was very crowded (more than 15 people waiting in a line to order) and I didn't wanna wait for long, so instead, I went to Dunkin' Donuts to see if they have any new donuts.
There're 2 new donuts: Holiday Wreath Donut and Holiday Star Donut.
According to the press release, they launched these holiday donuts on December 1, 2014.
I bought one each, and here is my review of Holiday Wreath Donut.
When I saw the photo in the press release, there's a huge difference between the image photo and the actual Holiday Wreath Donut I got (and also the ones at the shop).

I bought one each, and here is my review of Holiday Wreath Donut.
When I saw the photo in the press release, there's a huge difference between the image photo and the actual Holiday Wreath Donut I got (and also the ones at the shop).
Actual donut didn't look that nice at all.
Really!? No ribbon, no tiny dots, but only large and very lazy drips.
It's about 3-4cm (1.2 - 1.6 inch) tall and only the top part had green icing.
The surface was very greasy and it could the greasiest donuts I had from Donkin' Donuts.
It's a regular ring donut without any filling inside.
The icing was sweet but adding nice flavor and some smoothness to the plain donut.
In any case, I can't believe this lazy and rough decoration is considered as a product.
It's an unacceptable quality, to be honest.

諦め、代わりにダンキンドーナツへ行ってきた。
ホリデーリースドーナツとホリデースタードーナツの2種類の新しいドーナツがあったので
1個ずつ買った。
プレスによると2個とも2014年12月1日に発売されたらしい。
イメージ写真と実物を比べてみると雲泥の差で、私が行った 店舗のリースは全て適当に
かけられた赤い大きな点が4個あるだけで、本来あるべきリボンや細かい点々模様は全く
なかった。
ドーナツは3〜4センチほどの高さがあり、上部だけに緑色のアイシングがかかっていた。
ドーナツの表面はかなり脂っこく、これまでに食べたダンキンドーナツの中で1番ギトギト
していたと思う。
フィリングは入っていない輪型のプレーンドーナツで、甘いアイシングが少し滑らかさを
足していた。
いずれにしても、この適当なデコレーションを商品と販売していることが信じられない。

I've learned not to expect the actual thing to look like the advertisement's but that donut looks like an entirely different thing. If not for the color, I don't think I can relate it to Christmas theme LOL
