Winter Choco Pie (Win Another Box!)
冬のチョコパイ (IKKO出たら、もう1個！）

This is a winter season only Choco Pie launched on October 28, 2014.
The spokesperson is IKKO, he's a trans-genter makeup artist and also talent (entertainer / TV personality), and his famous phrase is "Dongake~!" shaking his index finger sideways as if you're indicating, "No, no, no."
Apparently, the phrase doesn't have any meaning but used in Shinjuku Nichome, where is known for gay and lesbian bars are, and those people use "Dondake~!" to groove and warm up.
Though the finger gesture was added by IKKO they say.
This Choco Pie is called "Winter Choco Pie (IKKO Detara, Mou Ikko!)."
First IKKO is his stage name, and "detara" means "if there is" or "if it appears" in this case, and "Mou Ikko!" is "another one" and as you can see the IKKO and Ikko are puns.
And the commercial had a phrase "Huyu dake~!" mimicking his well-known phrase "Dondake~!"
* Huyu sake means only in winter.
Regular Choco Pie uses plain cake and white cream, but this limited Choco Pie uses chocolate cake and cocoa flavored cream.
There's chocolate coating, bitter chocolate cake, and cocoa cream filling which you can enjoy the rich milk flavor, according to the bottom of the package.
On the side, there's the IKKO.
If there's IKKO mark inside of th box, you can win another Choco Pie box with Dondake Powder, which has richness of milk.
Front part of the box, there's an image of the product and individual package.
To keep the Choco Pie fresh, they use respective packages holding one pie each.
There're 6 Choco Pie inside, and the patterns inside was white snowflakes over blue background.
I took out all the Choco Pie, but there's no IKKO mark.
This time I didn't win the special powder again (as I didn't either for Matsuzaki Shigeru.)
Anyways, this is the individual package and the patterns are the same as Sachertorte.
The chocolate coating looked the same milk chocolate as regular Choco Pie uses.
From the side, there's also no difference from regular Choco Pie.
The cake was soft and moist, and had just a little bit of bitterness.
The cocoa flavored cream was smooth, but when I ate it with cake and chocolate coating, it's hard to notice the cocoa flavor as it's light and it's more rich milk flavor.
When I ate the cream itself, I could taste cocoa a bit, but it didn't have intense cocoa flavor like hot chocolate does.
Now I wonder whom Lotte will feature and what it will be next time they produce something unique.
And if they really do create something again, I really wanna win the special prize.

2014年10月28日、ロッテから冬限定のチョコパイが発売された。
今回のイメージキャラクターは美容家タレントのIKKO。
調べてみると、彼の有名なフレーズである「どんだけ〜」は元々新宿二丁目で使われて
いたようで、特に意味はなく、その場を盛り上げるための言葉らしい。
ただ、人差し指を左右に振る仕草はIKKOが足したと言われている。
このチョコパイは「冬のチョコパイ（IKKO出たら、もう1個！）」とダジャレになって
いて、CMも彼の言葉にかけた「冬だけ〜」となっている。
通常のチョコパイはプレーンなケーキ生地に白いクリームが挟まれているけれど、これは
チョコレート生地にココア風味のクリームが挟まれている。
箱にはほろ苦いチョコレート生地に、ミルクのコクが引き立つココアクリームを挟み、
チョコレートコーティングかかかっていると説明があった。
側面にはIKKOが載っていて、箱の中にIKKOマークがあったらチョコパイをもう1箱と、
さらに「ミルクのコク どんだけパウダー」が当たると書いてあった。
開け口の側にはチョコパイと個包装のイメージ画像があり、作り立ての風味を保つため
個包装にしてあると書かれていた。
箱の中には6個のチョコパイがあり、内側は青地に白い雪の結晶が載っていた。
チョコパイを全て取り出して内側を見てみたものの、IKKOマークはなく、松崎しげる同様
何も当たらなかった。（どんだけ〜！）
個包装のデザインは、ザッハトルテと同じだった。
チョコレートコーティングは通常のチョコパイと同じミルクチョコレートの色で、横から
見てもいつものチョコパイだった。
ケーキは柔らかくしっとりしていて、ほんの少しだけ苦みがあった。
ココア風味のクリームは滑らかだったけれど、ケーキとチョコレートコーティングと
一緒に食べるとココアの味よりもミルクの濃厚な味の方が強かった。
クリームだけで食べると少しだけココアの味が分かったけれど、ホットココアのように
濃い味ではない。
次回はロッテがどんな商品を作って、誰をイメージキャラクターに使うか気になる。
もしまた変わった商品があり、当たりがあるなら次こそは当てたい。
